Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.37

Doing something out the ordinary this week

Hello and welcome to our 37th volume of let’s Talk Gunpla segment! Here today we will be doing something a little bit different, we will be talking about some possible 2018’s releases. Why do you ask?

Well our dear readers, that is because we just realized that after talking about the MG Plan303E Deep Striker we didn’t realize that there were a lot more kits that they showcased during the Next Phase Gunpla exhibition (the event in which the Plan303E debuted) recently. With the lack of news from both P-Bandai and the Retail front, we decided what better time to talk about this than now.

Obviously, we won’t talk about everything that was showcased there, but we will be talking about the ones that we are quite honestly excited to see more of! 😀

So, without further ado lets get into the announcements, shall we?

RG 1/144 OZ-OOMS Tallgeese I (Endless Wars Version)

RG 1/144 OZ-OOMS Tallgeese I (Endless Wars Version)

Release Date: TBA

Estimated price: TBA

Even though it hasn’t gotten the real grade implemented to it yet, it already has a very badass look to it already.

This was a kit in which all of us here didn’t think Bandai considered as a release at all. So we were pleasantly surprised to see this showcased here. Though as compared to the others that we’ve seen here this is not really on the top of the ‘want’ list though it is one that we are excited about seeing more of.

So far from the initial showing, this does look quite dope, even though they haven’t really given it the ‘Real’ Grade look to it just yet. However, the one thing that got us really curious about as we were looking at this; the awesome RG Tallgeese I is that the absence of the Dober Gun and the cute round shield. We are quite curious about seeing how is this going to look like in the final pre-release state.

Even though the kit still hasn’t really fully revealed we are confident with the way Bandai have been treating the Wing Gundam Series in the RG form, that this would turn out all right and will be one that looks awesome. Although knowing Bandai we really can’t say for sure yet if this is coming as a retail Release or as a P-Bandai item but if it does come as a retail release, we wouldn’t be surprised if the other variants of the Tallgeese comes out as a P-Bandai, they already did that with the MG kits, it would not surprise us the same happens here.

Look really bad ass this.

Regardless, we are excited to see more of this soon.

HG 1/144 OZ-06MS Leo

HG 1/144 OZ-06MS Leo

Release Date: TBA

Estimated price: TBA

Really can’t wait for this to be out soon

This is another that kit we thought that would never see the light of day as a proper re-release. We really thought we would get the other Wing Gundam Series “Gundams” first before we get this, but to see this being announced first before them is really refreshing and something that we hoped that Bandai keeps doing from now on; releasing more grunt units before the main stars of the shows.

Talking about the kit itself, all we can say now is that the initial look of the Leo really is looking quite promising. As well we know that and we’ve seen the ‘almost’ final look of the Leo that was going around in the interwebs recently and we can say that even with the final look of the Leo, it really does resembles this pre-production version in these pictures here. Hell, even the equipment looks good in terms of both color and design.

Though all of that is really dwarfed by the fact that this kit might have an RSP of only 1,000 yen, YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT 1000 YEN. Though this is all speculation still up until we get the official news, for now, we are crossing our fingers in hopes to see that happens! So we can really get this one in the millions. haha.

A possibly cheap and a good looking kit this.

Regardless we love to have and see more grunt units being released in the wild. To finally see the Leo gets the re-release that it deserved does warm our cold hearts and we hope if this does well enough that the possibility that we might be able to see Taurus, Virgo and eventually the Serpent getting an official retail release would be possible. We would be really looking forward to that.

However, that is if they are not released as a P-Bandai of course. If either of them released as P-Bandai that would really suck ass. Though it wouldn’t surprise us if that would be the case…..

RE 1/100 XM-07 Vigna Ghina

RE 1/100 XM-07 Vigna Ghina

Release Date: TBA

Estimated price: TBA

The one that we’ve been waiting a new translation of.

When we saw the MG 1/100 F91 Ver.2.0 being showcased, which is something that we are excited for as well and then suddenly catch the glimpse of the Vigna Ghina, we thought to ourselves, fuck this can’t be happening. Then we saw its glorious look and shape and immediately had tears welled up in our eyes.

FINALLY, AN ANOTHER F91 KIT THAT IS NOT THE GUNDAM F91, fuck yeah we are happy to finally see this getting a proper reincarnation. We would say that this kit is probably one that we hope Bandai would give a chance with and how we all cried seeing this glorious MS.

Just look at that backpack man, This is really something that we would want to see more of

We have to say that even with its pre-production state the Vigna Ghina looks terrific, we have to admit this is a more exciting and one that looked so much more awesome then the F91 itself, even the reveal of the possible MG F91 Ver.2.0 being reintroduced into the MG line didn’t make us feel as excited about. Honestly, it has been too long of a wait to see this finally make it into the light of day, and to know that would be possible this year does make us feel excited to see it released for Pre-order soon.

Though we are sad that we didn’t get this to be released as a MG kit but we are still happy to see this coming out as a RE/100 release. As well we hope if this does sell well, we might be able to get more MG, RE/100 or even HGUC F91 kits in the future, and we really hope thaBandaiai would next give us the awesome looking Berga Giros.

We really had tears when we saw this glorious thing finally seeing the light of day.

We should start praying to the plastic gods, may he grant us more F91 in the future. Amen.

With that ends our 37th episode of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. What do you guys think of the kits that we are probably getting this year? So far the only one from here that is looking to definitely be released is the Leo so far. We have to say since this is the first time we actually did something like this week’s segment does look to be quite short tbh.Haha. Though we do want to hear your thoughts on f the possible releases and your thoughts of them and as well of your thoughts of us talking about this!
