Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.49

Another slow week? or is it?

Hello and welcome back to our 49th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla! It looks to be that we will be having another quiet week with no news on Retail and again P-Bandai is flooding their PO page with Rerelease kits…..

Oh, wait, this just in….WHAT, P-BANDAI HAS A NEW KIT ANNOUNCED? WHEN? LAST WEEK? EH, WE DIDN…..Oh, yeah…they did, we didn’t realize that they did with them flooding the announcement page with re-release PO’s

Anyways let’s talk about that P-Bandai announcement, shall we?

HG 1/144 MS-14J ReGelgu (HGUC)

HG 1/144 MS-14J ReGelgu (HGUC)

Release Date: 2018/07

Estimated price: JPY 2,160* (MYR RM78.29* / USD $20.13*)

*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

What a lovely red MS this is

This was really a surprise announcement from the P-Bandai chaps, not to mention to finally see another kit from the ZZ Gundam in 2018 no less. Though we would say its impressive of P-Bandai to support the PO for this kit by releasing it together with other previous P-Bandai kits in possibly generating interest for this kit.

Unfortunately, because they were flooding the PO’s with the re-release kits, we really didn’t realize this is a new kit till we accidentally stumbled into this one. A shame really, because we feel that this is probably one of the best looking HGUC kit (besides the Woundwort) that is set for release this year.

Beautiful, what an amazingly good looking kit this is

Since the MS itself is a major upgrade from the MS-14, it is no surprise that the kit uses many of the same runners as the previous 2007 release HGUC MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon, so to those that have built the HGUC Gelgoog before, you can expect it to be much less the same here and there.

However, not all of the kit feels the same, as there are some major changes that were made for this kit over the Gelgoog. Like a new backpack system, a bigger shoulder armor with more vernier’s in ‘em, new weapons and best of all the HGUC ReGelgu comes in awesome red. Really, why do you need this in any other colors?

Why do you need this in any other colors besides red?

This is one P-Bandai that we are looking forward to own, really we feel like this would be something awesome to have with displayed side by side with the normal Gelgoog variants.

I’m pretty sure this would be a hit……. if its retail. Too bad its P-Bandai though.

It comes with some pretty amazing array of weapons and types of equipment

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAAAAAIT, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME…….oh they did. Oh never mind let’s see what P-Bandai have in store for us this time, shall we?

MG 1/100 MS-06K Zaku Cannon (Ian Greydon Custom)

MG 1/100 MS-06K Zaku Cannon (Ian Greydon Custom)

Release Date: 2018/07

Estimated price: JPY 5,400* (MYR RM195.99* / USD $50.33*)

*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

This is an even more unexpected news, this is. We really thought we would end this post by only talking about the ReGelgu and just have only one announcement here.

But what do ya know, P-Bandai has another kit under their sleeves this week to surprise us with.

and really what a nice surprise this is.

Honestly, it’s always a welcome sight to see another kit from the ACE-PILOT P-Bandai MG line being announced here. With the GM Sniper Custom (Tennth.A.Jung Custom unit) being released earlier this year, we were hoping that Bandai this time would release more Zeon MG kits and what do you know, they did!

We are finally getting an MG kit from one of the most underrated Zaku variants out of all the Zaku MG Variants; the Zaku Cannon.

This is definitely one of the most underrated Zaku Variants out there.

The Ian Greydon Zaku Cannon Custom doesn’t seem to have anything new or offers anything different over its Retail counterpart. The only thing that sets this version apart over the retail variant is really the colors on its parts and the Ian Greydon version as well gets some pretty sweet new decals set. Even with only those small changes, it is enough to make us quite enthusiastic about getting this.

Really just look at this and tell us you aren’t as excited about it as we are.

It’ll be insane of us to pass this one up tbh.

This is really a kit we are really looking forward to owning, already we are getting two awesome P-Bandai kits coming in the month of July and really we can’t wait for these to come home to all of us here, soon.

With that ends our 49th episode of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. We are getting some pretty awesome P-Bandai announcements this week, we really don’t have any particular favorites out of the two announcements, because to us this time both announcements looks pretty fucking awesome. Though the Zaku Cannon Ian Greydon version does look the one that we are most keen to get first with. Regardless of what we felt out of these two, please do let us know here still of what from these two kits that you are looking forward to getting or seeing more of. We always look forward to reading and responding to your comments and thoughts on the kits and as well to this post!

We will be back with more Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment on the next coming Wednesday and we will be back as well this Sunday with Hopefully a review for the ASRA Ninja. Though it does look like the ASRA Ninja might take some time to finish, since it does seem to be a lot more challenging as compared to the rest Kimi has been taking on this year. Most likely we are going to see another Unboxing and First Impressions, and this time we might go back to the past. So do look forward to that!

As ever please do leave us a like if you enjoyed this article, as well do give us some feedback and comment if you think we would be able to improve further in making sure that we can give you better content in the future! As well, we want you to know that your likes and shares would be highly appreciated in supporting and helping us grow further, honestly, your love and support means the world to all of us here in Kimi the Builder Blog editorial team.

We hope by sharing our love and passion for gunplas here, it’ll inspire you to pick up the hobby or reignite your love for gunpla!
