No gunpla news, but we do have some pretty nice Gundam related things this week
We are back again this week with our 70th Edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment! Today we will be going back to P-Bandai, but not to cover some new Gunplas…instead this week we will be covering a few non-gunpla announcements here that is really in our own opinion is quite bloody awesome.
And don’t don’t worry all of this awesome things is somewhat related to Gundams trust us.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
Mobile Suit Ensemble RX-178 Gundam EX-09 TR-6 [Inle]

Out of all the things that were announced by P-Bandai this week that is not Gunpla, this is the first thing that really manages to get us good. Really when we first heard of the name ‘Mobile Suit Ensemble’ at the start we were all like, ‘Nah its just going to be just a bunch of rubberized fixed figures, we aren’t interested in that thing’.
Well, the reason for this is mainly due to the SD ‘realistic’ designs that were applied to most of the figures in this lineup. We honestly aren’t too keen on the Mobile Suit Ensemble series designs as a whole, because we just really feel it looked a bit weird combining both the SD elements and the realistic elements here.
Well, that is until we actually saw the TR-6 Inle, then all of us here started to feel…an extreme ‘want’ that we have never experienced before. Though our drive in getting this wasn’t really motivated by how good this actually looked….but more on to the fact that it kind of…looked pretty weird.
and we like its sheer weirdness here.
Just to be able to see this weird Dendrobium inspired MA thing that carries all that small drones like things and not to mention it as well carries two MS in tow? That is something that I never imagined an MA could do. Yes, though we realized that there is something like the MS Igloo’s Big Rang, even then that only carries small mobile pods, not like the inlay which carries a MOBILE SUIT.
What’s more, not content by just having one known form, The Inlay as well is able to swap into different looking forms at a time. Even in its full MA form, we really do think that this looks really impressive.
Even though we have to admit this is an insane MS all and all, but this is not all just pure insanity here. The inlay still manages to look pretty and badass at the same time. We do like how the Inlay looked overall, its weird yes, but you can’t really deny that that isn’t good looking.
Honestly so far There isn’t anything so far that has been released by the Mobile Suit ensemble chaps that is been impressive, but this….this might be one that has slowly won our cold black heart.
We honestly adore this awesome and weird looking plastic figure. Though we know the kit would be mostly a static piece, we still can’t help ourselves not to love this awesome piece of plastic….
However looking at the insane price, we start to have some pretty hard time justifying this purchase….for one. Is the one that we would call ‘insanely expensive’. Plus for a mostly static mecha figure that cost almost like a PG kit, we figured it would be sheer insanity to just get this when we can use the same money to get this bloody thing
Unless if you are a collector, Then getting this does make sense. Honestly, we can see this thing becoming something of a sought-after item in the collecting side.
Its just that, from gunpla builders perspective…this is just too insanely expensive for one to get.
ROBOT Spirits <side MS> MSN-04II Nightingale
Release Date: 2019/02
Estimated price: JPY 23,760* (MYR RM 877.41/ USD $ 211.65*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation
Aaah, yes the Nightingale.
We loved it when we saw it for the first time being announced as an RE100 release, we really thought at the time there is no way Bandai would be able to pull off an even crazier version of this awesome thing.
However, now it seems like they have managed to do the impossible. They have managed to make this insane monstrosity…….
Which turns out to be an enormously IMPRESSIVE piece when compared to the RE100’s version. Really, even at a glance this is honestly quite impressive We were already quite impressed by the sheer size of this…even though we can’t really gauge the actual size of this thing (we don’t think this is as big as the RE100’s version) but from the promotional picture it does look quite HUGE.
Regardless of the size, we do really think that this looks like an even more impressive Nightingale when compared to the RE100’s version. Another thing that the Robot Spirits does really well here, is when you take a look at the gimmicks part because when the RE100 first came out we were pretty disappointed with the lack of awesome gimmicks that is present in this version of the Nightingale
But the Robot Spirit’s version though….
There is just so many gimmicks here that we were in awe at how awesome this particular thing is. We were all had our mouth wide open all the while watching this awesome thing in action in the promotional vid here….
Really all we all could say is after going through the awesome vid is that…what an awesome thing this is….
The color on the Robot Spirits Nightingale is as well quite beautiful, not to mention the articulation on some of the parts and what’s more, you get a stand for you to fully display and showcase this glorious looking plastic mecha! How you don’t want to not have this awesome in your life!
Seriously, with all this awesomeness packed in this plastic thing, we do feel that this is something that is worth spending on. Even with that insane asking price, looking at what you get with the Robot Spirit’s Nightingale…does seem to us that this is one plastic art that is worth pouring money to.
The only thing that is left for us to do is just to find someone that would be crazy enough to help fund us to get this awesome piece of plastic art.
Because we do start to think that the more we spend the days not getting this awesome thing the more we think that this is starting to drive us insane.
That is really how much we really wanted to get this glorious thing.
With that ends our 70th episode of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! Oh what wonderful things P-Bandai has in store for us this week, and looking at these insanely expensive things, now it starts to feel like the P in P-Bandai starts to make more sense to all of us here. Because honestly speaking, looking at all of this we can’t help to feel like we are all not going to be able to own any of this awesome premium things anytime soon.
But hey! At least we all here can have a picture of these awesome things and wondered how our lives would be with them in our lives.
Anyways do let us know here of what from these kits that you are looking forward in getting or seeing more of and just know that we always look forward in reading and responding to your comments and thoughts of the kits and as well to this post!
