It looks like they are preparing to squeeze us dry in this coming Jan’19

HELLO!

We are back once again this week with the 76th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment! This week we will continue on to take a look at some of the announcements from last week that we didn’t manage to cover last week and as well we would be looking into one of the newer announcement that was just announced this week! Oh yes, we are going to be talking about more P-Bandai announcements this week!

So, without further ado, let us get into the announcements, shall we?

Finally, we get the Leo w/ Flight unit! I wonder what Leo Variants that we’ll see soon!

With the Leo space Type being set for release this month, the news of this kit doesn’t really come as a surprise to all of us here in the blog.

In fact, with the lack of news on this variant in the months leading to the release of the Space Type, we were more worried that this kit would never see the light of day….just like its other sad unreleased brother and sisters…

With the Retail version being such a blast to make, does make the excitement of getting this a lot more exciting.

1000129852_6
Oh Yeah, we are pretty excited for the release of this particular one

Though if we were to look closely on the outset, it doesn’t really seem like the kit had anything new made to its overall look if we were, to be honest. However, just like what we saw with the Space Type, this version of the Leo does come with a different set of backpack system. More specifically this comes with the Flight Pack for its backpack.

Fortunately for us, that’s not the only thing that this kit comes with, just like the Space Type, this version as well comes with a wide array of types of equipment and weapons! Though, just like how it was with the backpack this particular variant doesn’t come with the same weapon set like the one seen on the Space Type, it does, however, come with a different set of types of equipment and weapons.

1000129852_10
All a great many things that this particular Leo is coming with.

And looking at this we really can’t help and feel like getting this version of the kit asap!

With all the awesome things this kit comes, and not to mention that awesome color scheme that this version of the Leo comes with, it would be insane of us not to be excited about it. This definitely would be the one that all of us here look forward to getting most definitely!

by far the best looking Jegan Variants that we’ve seen.

The next one on the upcoming Jan release for P-Bandai is this.

Another Jegan variant release, but this time it is not made for the Gundam Unicorn anime. This particular Jegan variant is made especially for the upcoming Gundam Narrative anime….

And one that we are quite interested of…despite the fact that we’ve been getting one too many Jegan variants.

Regardless, this Jegan variant is a pretty interesting one, because unlike the previous Jegan releases. This kit does get pretty significant changes made on the head and the main body of the kit. At a glance, one can be forgiven for mistaking this for a Mecha from the Platlabor series, especially on the head part because when every time we look at it, we can’t help to think about the ARL-99B Helldiver.

1000129851_4
Despite the Platlabor reference, we truly believe that this is by far the best looking Jegans to date.

Despite us feeling as such, we do think the changes made here are making the Jegan feel…fresh and new-ish as compared to the other Jegan variants that we’ve seen so far.

Though, for us, the biggest change…or addition that is given to this variant of the Jegan is really on the new machine gun unit that is included here with the kit. When we looked at this we can’t help to feel like this is a by-product of the marriage in between the Zaku Machine Gun, GM Beam spray gun and the Jesta’s badass beam rifle. Which end up becoming this small, awesome thing.

Actually, when we think about it…we are actually more excited for the new gun then the kit itself if we were, to be frank.

The Jegans, with one of the best looking guns to date.

This is most definitely one kit that we are most looking forward to and definitely one that will be PO-ing this week.

By far one of the weirdest MS’s that has made its way into the Gundam lore.

Finally, we get to last bit of this week’s announcement and as well one of the latest news of the three.

Yes, we are finally going to be talking about the P-Bandai HGUC Gaz R/L set.

The gunpla set that we have been hearing many rumors and as well have been seeing it being showcased a few times already in a few plastic model cons, but only now we are finally getting an official word from P-Bandai of its release.

And honestly? We all feel that is long overdue.

Why, you may ask? Well with the release of the HGUC Galbaldy β we thought that they might want to capitalize the hype of the release of the HGUC Galbaldy β by having this be announced right after, but they didn’t…instead they really take their own sweet time with this one.

1000129781_8
Without a doubt, they do look good in a pair…but goddamn it looks weird.

Regardless, it is still quite nice to finally see them in the flesh and as well it was even nicer to know that Bandai is releasing them in a set instead of having us having to go through the pain of getting them individually.

Despite what people might say about this particular kit, we for one understood the reason of why they might want to release this under the P-Bandai tag. Just take a look at them…you immediately are aware of the sheer ridiculousness of it all.

Yes, we said it…this is a ridiculous MS to have been made into Gunpla. That weird shoulder armor and the gaudiness of the whole thing just makes it just look f’ing weird.

But somehow rather, we are still quite taken by how weird and strange it all looked.

Plus you get a pair of them too.

1000129781_9
This is really one cool pose.

Though If we were to summerise this kit, we would say that this is just a fancier Galbaldy set with weird shoulder unit and not to mention, it comes with a very fancy looking lance.

Yeah that’s sounds quite right.

The only issue that we might have with this, from what we saw in the promotional pics is the fact that it will come with shiny parts and you know what all of us feel with them shiny bits.

Regardless, of that little setback, we are still quite taken by how weird it looks so you can say we are getting this one up.

1000129781_7
Despite us thinking of how weird it looks, but we can’t deny the blue one looks hella cool.

Though, it does make us wonder if we could just combine them both to make one kit that just embodies all this ridiculousness and one completely normal looking one…that is definitely one idea that we would love to explore as soon as we get this unique looking P-Bandai HG kit.

With that ends our 76th  episode of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. It looks like more P-Bandai kits are coming to start our 2019 with a bang….and it looks like P-Bandai is really planning to financially ruin all of us here in the blog with an ever-growing line-up of insane upcoming P-Bandai kits.

At this rate, all of us here would definitely have to look into nutricinal qualities of eating grass for the whole year.

Anyways, we will be back again next week with more Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment on the next coming Wednesday and hopefully, this week Kimi will be back again this Sunday with the review for the MG 1/100 RGM-89 Jegan. So do look forward to that.
