A pretty interesting start to our 2019

HELLO AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR AWESOME READERS HERE IN THE BLOG!

We are back again in 2019 with our 86^th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment and the first Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment of this year! We do hope that you all had an awesome holiday last week and to those that are starting school/work this week, we do hope that all of you have an awesome start to your studies/careers. We as well hope that all of you here would have a prosperous year ahead, may you have a lot of love and may…we all have some awesome gunplas too this year

This week, we are going to be looking at one of LAST WEEKS retail release that…. we kind of missed due to all of us getting…well…. quite taken by last weeks P-Bandai news. Yes, even though last weeks P-Bandai news isn’t as great as we all wanted it to be, but we did have some pretty interesting arguments about ‘em. However, this week’s news we all can agree to be…an easy one to talk about.

and oh, not to mention we as well, have one kit tease that we found to be…. quite surprising. So, without further ado let us talk about it, further shall we?

HG 1/144 RX-9/C Narrative Gundam C-Packs (HGUC)

Release Date: 2019/03

With the release of the A-packs recently and as well the announcement of the upcoming release of the B-packs variant expension, we were at first wondering if the Narrative Gundam would eventually come in a much more conventional version. Well…what we actually mean was, a cheaper version of an insane-looking Gundam that we have seen to date.

Well my dear readers, wonder no more because now we do have a cheaper version of the Insane looking Gundam! With Bandai finally giving us the……. HG Narrative Gundam C-Packs variant!

Or what we all here like to call it: – the unfinished Unicorn Nu-Gundam Hybrid.

Yes, honestly it is really not hard to not see the connection in between the Unicorn and the Nu here. The clear red uncovered psycommu armor bits, separate ‘destroy’ mode eye, the unicorn-ish shield and you add all the bits that look like the Nu-Gundam turns the previously ‘unfinished nu-gundam’ Narrative Gundam now looks like the ‘unfinished Unicorn Nu-Gundam Hybrid’ Narrative Gundam. We thought the previously talked about variants of the Narrative looked insane, but this? Really takes the insane cake, to another level.

Though we admit that despite its unfinished, insane look we do adore the look of the Narrative, for a matter of a fact, that we think the narrative line of Gundams itself does start to slowly look better in each variation of it. Though looking at this one does start to wonder if the C-pack narrative comes with a destroy feature like the unicorn?

Since none of us here have watched the Narrative movie yet to really confirm this. It does really mean that we really have to wait till the movie to be released officially here in this coming 17^th for us to be able to really confirm what all this unicorn-ness does to the MS.

Despite all of that unicorn features that are present on the Narrative, the one that we all here in the blog find quite amusing is when we all take a look at that… heavily modified Jegan’s Beam Rifle. There are a lot of pretty interesting weapons designs that we’ve seen here in the Narrative series, but this might be one of the best redesigns of a classic weapon that we have seen yet to date. It might be not as good looking as the Jegan D ‘s types machine gun, but it still on that we feel that looked quite badass. Plus, since the beam rifle itself looked quite experimental-ish. It does fit in the overall experimental-ish look of the MS as a whole.

Without a doubt, we are quite excited for this kit to come out, and for once we finally get something normal-ish (well when we mean normal, we actually mean cheap) from this line up of kit.

HG 1/144 ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam (HGCE) Teaser

The only thing that we have to say about this is……HELL YEA, IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!

Since we don’t really know much about this kit, YET, we can’t really say much about it since there is so much about this that we don’t know yet and with how the HG Moon is, we reckon this might be another awesome one that is going to be an awesome one. Furthermore, we kind of has this feeling that we would be seeing more of this in this the upcoming GunPLA EXPO in Kagawa in this coming February. So we are going to keep a close eye on this particular kit and rest assured that we will go into it further as soon as we get more learn more about this awesome kit!

With that ends our 86^th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment and the first Let’s Talk Gunpla post of 2019! Yes, even though we are having a quite a quiet start of the year but to know that we will be getting a VERY interesting looking Narrative Gundam variant does make us look forward to what’s to come and not to mention that awesome teaser of the upcoming HG Destiny…

That is one Destiny that we are all looking forward to seeing more of this year.
