Hmm, that smells like a piece of somewhat good P-Bandai news.

HELLO!

We are back! Finally! After a week of our sudden hiatus (thanks Kimi), we are finally back again this week back to talk about all things gunpla again, and this week we have some pretty interesting news from the P-Bandai side, and it does seem we are in for a…treat? Somewhat?

Anyways, though these are news are ones that were announced last week, but it is one that we are looking forward to be talking about today, so without further ado let us get into it shall we?

The badass troop transport just got even more badass

This is really one piece of news that we really weren’t that surprised to be hearing, in fact, with the Char Counter Attack’s version getting the P-Bandai treatment it’s kind of obvious that the unicorn version would as well get the same treatment. It would be more of a surprise to us if by now they were to release it as a retail release.

Despite the treatment that the RE100 Base Jabber has been getting, we do think that the Unicorn’s version of it is as well looking quite badass. Though at the same time we as well admit that there isn’t much to differentiate the two besides the color differences and all the MS’s that is mounting em’ in their respective promotional pictures.

Though it looks badass, the fact of the matter is you still need to get to get the action bases separately…

Then again, the Base Jabbers itself is pretty badass, so it makes sense why we all still like em so much even though there isn’t anything new to it.

Unfortunately, despite all the promotional showing that the kit really requires at least 3 action bases for you to really be able to fully pose the Base Jabber, the fact of the matter is…that the kit doesn’t come with any Action bases. Honestly, we do find that to be quite, silly since you did promote the kit in that way. Which we don’t understand why they still insist not to include the stand together with the kit.

Not to mention that sticker based cockpit area…….damn back when we talked about it on our 62nd volume, they kind of made somewhat of a good job with it. But for this…MY GOD, I can’t believe they made the stickers look even more annoying to look at. I wonder if they at the very least partitioned the window area up since it is obvious that I wouldn’t be bothered to use them stickers for that.

Just look at that, god that is annoying, and we can’t believe that they used this as one of the promotional pictures for the Unicorn version of the Base Jabber

However, seeing that it helped to make P-Bandai justify making reprints of the MG Jesta Cannon that is as well enough for us to justify getting another P-Bandai’s Base Jabber and at the same time helping us to justify getting another MG…..

Well, since talking about that would as well introduce us to the next kit that we would be talking about why don’t we get into it, shall we?

Yes, getting the base jabber would definitely make us want to get the D type version of the MG Jegan as well.

Yes, it would be obvious that the Unicorn version of the Base Jabber would definitely propel get the P-Bandai’s version of the MG Jegan, the D Type MG Jegan. Plus we find it to be quite timely that they made the release announcement of the Base Jabber together with the MG Jegan D type.

Since really, who in their right mind would not want to get the both of them together?

Plus with the MG D Type Jegan looking pretty badass itself, it would be insane of us not ignore this piece of beautiful plastic. The D Type looked so badass that it made the Original Jegan looked… well out of style if we were, to be frank, and it’s not like the original MG Jegan looked bad or whatever, no. In fact, the MG Jegan is quite a looker itself, and the D type just manages to be a lot better looking than the original. Which an amazing feat!

What makes it even more amazing is that there isn’t much that was changed from the original version but the funny thing is that we do think that the change is enough to make the kit looked quite badass. You can see the changes that were made on the MG Jegan’s shoulder armor, backpack and the addition of that front waist cover-thing is enough for us to be quite excited again in owning another MG Jegan variant.

The changes that would be seen on the MG D Type Jegan

Really, it would be hard to ignore this even though yes, technically the MG D Type Jegan is just more of the same MG Jegan, with different molds. Then again, having more MG Jegan isn’t really a bad thing.

However, its really a shame to see this kit being released under the P-Bandai banner because really, we feel that if this version of the MG Jegan was to be released as a retail release, it would definitely be one that would sell like hotcakes just by its war-winning looks itself.

Why don’t you just release this under the normal retail release? I’m sure people wouldn’t mind throwing money at you for this version as a retail release

Plus, since we are seeing the MG D Type Jegan getting the P-Bandai treatment, we kind of have a feeling that we might as well be seeing possibly the MG Stark Jegan becoming a P-Bandai release. We still hope that wouldn’t be the case, but if we were to be honest? We wouldn’t be surprised if it does become a P-Bandai kit.

Regardless, this is one P-Bandai MG kit that we are looking forward to seeing more of and definitely will be getting it for sure. But we aren’t really sure to recommend it though, due to its P-Bandai nature and it being more less the same…

1000131841_8
Although you look the same as the Original version but we honestly wouldn’t mind getting you, you beautiful piece of P-Bandai plastic.

Maybe when we get it here we shall see if it is as good or better than its predecessor. Or if it turned out to be the same thing with different clothes.

Which is making this one exciting P-Bandai MG kit to eventually get to.

With that ends our 87th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, what do you think of the somewhat interesting announcements that we just discussed about, here in the blog? Is there any from what we just talked about that interests, you guys? For us personally we are more intrigued with the MG Jegan Type D then the RE100 Base Jabber, but we would admit that it would be REALLY hard not to buy the two of them together when the both of them comes out.

But we’d probably get the reprint, MG Jesta Cannon, FIRST tho, since it was as well set to be re-released around the same time as the both of them…. dangnamit this coming April is going to be a hard one for us financially indeed…

Anyways, we will be back again with more Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment on the next coming Wednesday and this Sunday KIMI will be back with hopefully a review or another unboxing from the backlog! So, do look forward to that! 😀
