A heavenly white edition this is
HELLO!
We are back this week with our 97th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! This week we have some pretty interesting release announcements from the P-Bandai Chaps and as well we would be including one very interesting new segment for this weeks segment too.
Regardless, it does look like we are going to have one hell of an interesting segment today and as well it looks like we are going to have a VERY interesting June ahead of us all soon too.
So without further ado let us get into it, shall we?
RE100 1/100 LM111E02 Gun EZ Ground Type (RE100)

Release Date: 2019/06
Estimated price: JPY 3,780* (MYR RM 139.54/ USD $ 34.25*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

With the RE100 Gunblastor set to be released in the coming months, we actually really didn’t expect P-Bandai to release another kit from the V Gundam series line up, especially one from the V Gundam MSV line up. Actually, we really didn’t expect P-Bandai to be releasing any more RE100 V Gundam Related kits till the release of the RE100 Gunblastor, to be honest.
But here we are with another P-Bandai RE100 kit and this is really one that we had to take a moment and really stare at that one of the beautiful piece of plastic art from this weeks P-Bandai release announcements. One, that really has a lot of new but subtle changes made to the original RE100 Gun EZ kit that was released in late December of last year.

The changes that were made here is seen on the new head unit mold, the upgraded shoulder 2 tube launchers, the new mold on the side waist armors, new mold for the shoulder armor and some sweet looking new Gun EZ Ground Type exclusive decals. As well as not to forget the new light brown and dark brown color scheme.
However, it still carries the same equipment from the original and it doesn’t seem that there is any new unique equipment that is included with this version. But regardless, we do think that all the new additions that are made on this version is enough to inspire us to get the kit and despite its hefty ‘P-Bandai tax’ we do think that this is a good kit to get if you are an avid fan or a collector.

As long as you do have the moolahs lying around that is. Though, we do wonder if P-Bandai has any plans to make the Bluebird Team color scheme for this particular kit? Hmm, well time will tell if they have plans for that release.

RG 1/144 MBF-P01-Re3 Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Hana (RG)

Release Date: 2019/06
Estimated price: JPY 3,240* (MYR RM 119.48/ USD $ 29.31*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

When we saw this kit, we were all taken aback by it. Yes, we are all were quite impressed by how the Gun EZ Ground Type looked but when compared to this…..this masterpiece…
Honestly…
Whomever that has thought of making this into an RG version first really deserves a proper raise because this is definitely one of the best Astray variants that we’ve seen to date and yes we all think that it looked even better than the High-Res beefcake Astray Red Frame. In fact, we think that it looked tons better too.

Which we do find quite funny is the fact that they really didn’t do anything new to the RG Astray Gold Frame than the major color change to its armor piece. But yet they still managed to create something that manages to be one of the BEST looking P-Bandai kits that we’ve seen to date!
But to say that it doesn’t come with anything new is a tad bit unfair since it does come with some pretty sweet looking decals here. Which when paired together with the awesome new white color scheme, makes an already badass looking white gold frame look even more badass here and we do like how some of the decals

What makes this an even more impressive is the fact that we are only seeing it for the first time in an RG kit which is why we kind of understand why the Pre-order page for this kit was down for the whole day since its announcement. Because just like we were, we are sure there is a lot of people that feel the same way as we do as soon they saw this being listed.

Regardless, what people might think of this being the same ol’ same ol’ RG kit but looking at it we really can’t help to feel like this is looking to be one purchase that is going to be a worthwhile one indeed. Especially for super fans and collectors alike.
With that ends the confirmed announcements, now let’s talk about the Unconfirmed one. in a new sub-segment that we would call the “Rumor bits”.

Rumor bits: MG 1/100 RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type/Cold Climate Type (MG)

Rumored Release Date: 2019/06
Estimated price: JPY 3,900* (MYR RM 143.81/ USD $ 35.27*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation
What better kit to start this new segment then talking about the kit that we have been anticipating to hear Bandai (or P-Bandai) announce ever since the release of the last year’s MG GM Command; the announcement for the MG GM Cold Districts/Cold Climate Type.
A kit that we all have been waiting for has been said to be confirmed to get the P-Bandai release and not retail release apparently, however both the P-Bandai page or the retail side have yet to confirm this news so we do wait to see if we are seeing this for retail or P-Bandai. But honestly though, we aren’t surprised if it does, in fact, we were kind of expecting it to get the P-Bandai tax. Because if they can do it with the GM Command Space Type, they can do it with the Cold Districts/Cold Climate Type.
Anyways, since there is nothing that is confirmed yet about the kit, we can’t really comment on which release we would be seeing but what we can comment on is on how the kit might be looking to be. Because we think that it might have many of the same parts that were used for the GM Command to make it here. With very minor changes needed to be made to the GM Command frame to convert it to the GM Cold Districts/Cold Climate Type, we don’t think that there would be many new parts that would come with the kit.
However, we admit the one thing that we are really looking forward to seeing more of is the badass NGHII GMG-Type2 Bullpup Machine Gun with Granade launcher in MG form. The one weapon that we really would love to see them do a redesign of. The thing that we are really looking forward to will they be keeping the aesthetics of the anime here or will they go full MG SEED Remaster route which means they would complete redesign of the whole look of the Machine Gun. But whatever that they plan to do with it, we are looking forward to the finished product.
This is one kit that we are really looking forward to talking about as soon as we have more info of and it is definitely one that we are really excited to hear more of. Hopefully, we still are seeing it as a regular release.
With that ends our 97th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai announcements? Is there anything from this week’s P-Bandai news that you are really looking forward to? The RG Amatsu Hana is definately one RG kit that we are really looking forward to seeing more of….and we do hope that we can get to do a Pre-Order of soon.
and what do you guys think of the ‘Rumor-Bits’ segment, we admit that we are still aren’t sure of doing since we are tied up on a weekly basis at the moment. Do you think we should be more proactive at it? Do let us know in the comment section here, or in Reddit!
