In this week’s 101st episode of our Let’s Talk Gunpla, we once again will be looking into the latest P-Bandai’s gunpla announcement this week and it does seem we are getting one interesting news from the P-Bandai RG line from the Char’s Counterattack series.
One announcement that we all kind of expecting P-Bandai to do as soon as the RG Sazabi was released last year.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Honestly, was a piece of news that, we aren’t that surprised to see being announced.
Seeing how the RG Sazabi performed in the market, we are really not surprised that Bandai (in this case, P-Bandai) would make a shiny version of this awesome RG kit. The one RG kit that we really don’t mind getting.
From what we are seeing here, we can deduce that this particular P-Bandai shiny RG Sazabi kit is in essence, the same kit as its retail brethren. Which means that the kit is mostly more less the same as the awesome retail version. However, what really sets the P-Bandai’s version over the retail’s version, is it’s the P-Bandai version’s new shiny paint job.
The shiny parts here really looks good, we would even go as far to say that this is might be the best-looking one yet and this is coming from a bunch of people that aren’t really a fan of shiny/metallic looking plastic kits. The reason being is that we think that all the P-Bandai’s RG Sazabi’s shiny bits do look quite tasteful and nice here. Combining the 2 tones of matte-red (metallic red/ dark red metallic) color schemes here, it really manages to make the P-Bandai’s version of the RG Sazabi looked quite badass. Plus with the way they gate this kit, we honestly wouldn’t mind getting this version since we know that most of the nubs will be well hidden throughout the kit.
So hopefully there no parts with obvious nubs here sticking out like a sore thumb.
Let’s also not forget that this RG kit is based on the very best RG kits to date which we really don’t mind working on. Though, the’PG’ level asking price for this RG kit might deter us all of us from getting it if were to be honest…haha…
Regardless, if you are a huge fan of the RG Sazabi and as well at the same time, had a huge lump of money to spare… This might be one that you might want to consider getting!
As for us though……….we might skip this one…due to that insane asking price…
