P-Bandai: A Wing special
HELLO! We are back!
In this weeks 104th Edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla, we would once again be taking a look into the all the awesome P-Bandai releases which was announced on last week. But we figured since the bulk of this weeks P-Bandai announcements are just from the Wing Gundam series why not do a whole P-Bandai Wing Gundam Special Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 Maganac 36 units set (HGAC)

Do you like the recently release HGAC Maganac?
Have you ever thought that one HGAC Maganac doesn’t cure that itch that you may have?
Have you ever specifically wanted 36 HGAC Maganac’s in your collection?
Well wonder no more my fellow readers, because P-Bandai has you covered on this one with the announcement of the P-Bandai’s 36 Maganac unit set!
Never have we imagined that P-Bandai was that thoughtful…thanks.
Anyways…
When we all saw this, we were all were quite amused by it, no to be more precise we were all quite dumbfounded by the sheer insane scale of this kit. Forget the HG 1/144 Dendrobium….this set just overtook it by being the most insane modern HG kit to date!
Seriously, whoever that gets this is either really loves the HGAC Maganacs at the level of don’t really mind the fact that this would take up a big chunk of space in your home or if you have ALOT of money lying around.

Regardless of which one are you, just know that we respect your decision to get this and what a mad lad you are.
Because to be honest the set itself is just consisted with a 36 HGAC Maganac with some minor tweaks here and there in its equipment and weapons loadout. Which we do think its kind of awesome, just have all of the different variants to be released in the same release. But to be really frank we really can’t imagine sitting down building the same kit 36 times.

Though we can imagine that by the 5th Maganac, you probably don’t need the manual anymore to build the kit by then.
However, we cannot help to notice as we looked at the large collection of the Maganacs, to where is the leader units of the Maganac Corps?
Well, wonder no more fam, cause P-Bandai has you covered with…..
HG 1/144 WMS-03 Maganac (Ahmad & Auda custom MS) (HGAC)

Release Date: 2019/07
Estimated price: JPY 1,728* (MYR RM 65.60* / USD $ 15.75*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Releasing all of the leader Maganac units as a 2 set release………and the first set that we will be talking about is the Ahmad’s and Auda’s version of their respective Maganac’s.
The two Maganac’s that is shown here, looks considerably different than all the other variants that we have seen from the 36 Maganac set that. The weapons sets and types of equipment are only unique to this as you can see the Auda’s Maganac sporting that massive gopher hand thing, a new set of shoulder armor and as well a new back waist armor. Whilst the Ahmad’s Maganac having that badass looking backpack unit, new shoulder armor set and a pretty sleek head unit.

We like the changes that are made to these two Maganac variants, we fee this is a great kit to have if you are not that keen with the standard version and want to go with a more unique look to your HGAC Maganac.
Plus we can as well imagine fans of the series getting excited with the prospect of owning this badass set…However, we don’t think they would only stop with this set.
Because there is another leader set, for you super fans…
HG 1/144 WMS-03 Maganac (Abdul & Rashid Custom) (HGAC)

Release Date: 2019/07
Estimated price: JPY 1,728* (MYR RM 65.60* / USD $ 15.75*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Abdul and Rashid’s versions were the other Maganac Leader units that are set for release at the same time as the previous leader set that we just talked about and just like the previous version this line of HGAC Maganac set as well get some pretty interesting types of equipment included with it.
Take the HGAC Abdul’s Maganac unit for an instance, it has a different backpack unit, a badass looking shoulder armor, like the ones seen on the previous leader set which looked nothing like the ones seen on the 36 set’s and it is as well had a different head unit. As for the Rashid’s Maganac, well, just like Ahmad’s version from the outset you may notice that this looked alot like the standard Maganac unit. However, upon close inspection, you will notice that there were some additions that were made, like a fin piece on its head unit and some changes, like a new shoulder armor unit and backpack unit.
It as well had a pretty nice numbered decal too attached to the shoulder unit, which we think looks like something that comes from the MS IGLOO.

So far from what we are seeing, we do like how both Maganac leader sets are looking here and with all the leader units be released on the same month, we think is a good opportunity for you collectors to just snag the awesome leader units before the arrival of the massive 36 Maganac set.
Which does bring us to the HGAC 36 Maganac set, to be honest with you all here, we do feel like despite the insane asking price and the space that you may need to free up, to store an army of HGAC Maganacs…..is worth getting. Why? Well, when compared to the other HUGE Expensive HG kits that we’ve seen, only the Maganac 36 unit set feels the most flexible ones that we’ve seen to date.
Yes, I realized that you do need a huge space to store all of that kit, but when compared to the huge ass HGUC Dendrobium or even the MG Deep Striker, which does require you to really have a huge space to store the massive kit. At the very least with the HGAC Maganac, 36 unit set you can still move all the small Maganacs around or even just have a few of them around if you really don’t have the space to display all of them at one time.
but the problem with that is the fact that if you are considering to complete the set you most likely will need to go and purchase the separate leader units as well…and think all of these will come with the P-Bandai tax… Not to mention too when you consider the fact that there is as well still the HGAC Sandrock that is coming….god…

You prolly need to sell both of your kidneys if you really plan to make that happen…This is probably one of the most insane sets that I’ve seen to date…..
Thankfully we are not a big fan of the Maganac, however, to those that are fans of the Maganac and really considering on getting them. Just know that we understand, because all of us here knows that the lure of the plastic crack is really hard to ignore.
Especially when it comes down to the one that you wanted to have.
but that is not the end of the Wing related news, oh no, no. We still have one more Wing related kit that we want to discuss here…and it is this….the…
RG 1/144 OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III (RG)

Release Date: 2019/07
Estimated price: JPY 3,024* (MYR RM 115.09* / USD $ 27.60*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation.

Yes, the day that we all knew would come has finally arrived.
The day that we would see the RG Tallgeese III announced for P-Bandai.
Oh how we all dread this day….
Anyways, enough whining let us now talk about the kit now, shall we?
Despite the fact that we all knew that this kit would definitely be announced, the one thing that we really didn’t expect to see here is just by how badass the kit actually looked.
The 3rd iteration of the RG Geese here is really something because unlike the previously released RG Tallgeese II, RG Tallgeese III is the one that really has the most major changes made to its base look. Like for an instance where you can see the RG Tallgeese III has a new set of a badass looking shoulder armor piece, it as well gets that insane looking Mega Beam Cannon, the shield, the retractable heat rod, and that badass looking head unit.

The RG Tallgeese III as well has a new white/blue color scheme, which we do think suits the overall look of the whole kit. Although we all here do like how the blue RG Tallgeese II looked. But the combination of blue/white here with the white being the primary color here really fits the whole white/blue geese look here better.
All of that, and plus with the RG treatment really makes this one of the best looking RG geese variants that we’ve here seen to date. We are pretty excited for this one, even despite knowing that this would definitely be slapped with that big fat P-Bandai tax.
Because for that beautiful geese boi? We really don’t really mind paying more for that beautiful boi.

With that concludes our 104th Edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai kit announcements? Are you looking forward to this P-Bandai offering? We are honestly were quite taken aback with that massive 36 HGAC Maganac set, the fact that P-Bandai really went through with this really is something that we admit that we are quite impressed by. Because it really takes a big cojones to do it in this day and age.
But even though the HGAC Maganac unit set looked really impressive, all we really want is really that beautiful RG Geese.
Anyways, we will be back again with more Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment on the next coming Wednesday and this Sunday Kimi will be back with a review or an unboxing! So do look forward to that!
