A perfect start to an awesome week.

HELLO!

In this weeks 110th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking into some of the two new P-Bandai announcements. Though technically it is not actually new since one of the announcement was made a few weeks back and another just made last week.

Although, unlike last weeks news. These releases are something that we are quite interested to get and unlike last week…they are pretty affordable-ish…

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

If you are looking for perfection…look no further

When we all saw this annoucement, frankly we were not actually that surprised to see it being announced but we are more surprised to see them take this long after the RG Strike Gundam’s release to actually announce this.

Although, yes it is not to say that they completely squander the release with nothing, because we still have gotten the pretty awesome RG Strike Rouge, however, this was something that we kind of hoping that either the retail side or the P-Bandai side to want to pick up when the hype for the kit is still on the high.

Instead, they decided to announce it on the same week as the Metal Structure’s announcement, which we do think was a bad idea. But even despite that, we were quite surprised to see it doing quite well. looking at how the kit now is on the 2nd shipment preorder, it does indicate to us that there is quite a demand for the RG Perfect Strike.

If it looks perfect at the front, it looks even more perfecter in the back

Although, to be frank….. as we take a closer look at the Perfect Strike, we do admit that it doesn’t really have anything particularly interesting about it. Because it is not to say that we haven’t seen both the Launcher / Sword Strike package before. In fact, it was obvious that the two was taken from the retail side’s previously released expansion pack for the strike, the RG Skygrasper Launcher/ Sword Pack.

Though it is not to say that there isn’t anything here that we are not excited about with the RG Perfect Strike Gundam, because it does seem like they have a few new things that we can see that is obviously changed from the previous version. Like for an instance the addition of the external energy pack that is attached at the Strike’s backpack unit and the backpack unit itself highly modified to house the mounting/ storing mechanism for the launcher and the sword weapons package.

It’s impossible for them to mount this two without doing some major modifications to the kit, which is what we are quite interested to see

Looking at how awesome this is, we really can’t help to feel quite interested with this kit and seeing that how it has quite a number of very interesting things done here, we are as well looking forward to seeing how everything would pan out for the kit. Well, if we are able to pre-order it…that is…

They looked like they are going to drop one of the dopest albums of all time

It’s really nice to see more MG Advance of Z kit still seeing the light of day, frankly, it is not every day that you get to see P-Bandai this commited with a lineup that we are still seeing kits coming.

Especially so for the MG line up.

Although this was really one announcement that managed to surprise us, because seeing how bonkers they were with the HG line up, we thought that they might want to eventually do the same thing here with the MG line up. So imagine our surprise and disappointment, that we are seeing them still milking the ‘normal’ look of the Hazel line up.

Even with all that talk from us of the ‘normal’ look of this MG TR-1 variant, we do admit that we actually struggled to see what parts are what here, since it does seem that P-Bandai did re-use many sections of the older MG GM Quell but at the same time, they looked…alot different than how we remember it. They looked like they were re-molded.

We wonder if is there anything new that was done here

Especially when we all take a closer look at the GM Quell’s head, we honestly didn’t remember the visor bit looked like it was painted like that. Maybe they are using a different colored visor or something but looking at it one can’t really help to assume that all of these things that we are seeing here now, is all new.

Although, since we haven’t actually worked on any of the MG TR-1 variants we really can’t comment much here since there is alot of things that we aren’t sure of when looking at these MG Advance of Z kits.

Definitely one of the better looking GM Gundams out there

However, the only thing we can confirm here is that as we look at this MG kit, that we are quite interested with it. But at the same time, we aren’t that thrilled to see the ‘painted visor’ looking GM Quell head. Regardless, we do want to keep an open mind here for this kit, and we never know, this MG kit might turn out to be better than what we expected…

or it might be a disappointment, who knows? At the end of the day, it is up to us to find out.

REally looking forward to finding out what this kit has to offer.

With that concludes this week 110th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai announcements? Are you looking forward to all the upcoming P-Bandai offerings? Its nice change of pace for us here this week. To see something that is more affordable for once.

Though we do find it funny that the P-Bandai kits are the one this time being more…well in terms of price at least…to be more on the reasonable. Though I can’t help feeling like, that they might as well have something in the works to rival the retails insanity.

Whatever it might be, we do look forward to whatever kits that they might have in store…

and we don’t mean the new news that we just saw today, we might talk about them next week, haha.
