The invasion of the GM horde

HELLO AGAIN, all of you awesome builders!

In this weeks 111th edition of our let’s talk gunpla segment, we will be taking a look again at the some of P-Bandai’s quite recent release announcements…which we kind of missed last week due to the lack of time we have to first discuss those recently released kits.

Even with that said interestingly, we are again seeing some very legit strong release announcements from P-Bandai and these are some of the very best looking ones that have seen in a long while. We can’t help to feel as we look at all of these P-Bandai release announcements, that P-Bandai is really going all out this time around…

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

This is what happens when you decide to take all of your school books along with you

When we saw the GM Interceptor’s release announcement last year, we wondered if we would be seeing the Fellow Booster getting a follow-up release, and sure enough, we finally get to see the Fellow Booster making it as a Gunpla release… but not as a retail release but, as a P-Bandai release.

We know, we know it does suck to see this being released as a P-Bandai release but it is not like by now we are not expecting that to happen by now.

However, the one thing that we weren’t expecting to see, is just on how insanely good looking the HG Fellow booster looked.

The sexiest Backpack units that we’ve seen to date

Looking at it, we really struggle to imagine how they managed to make this HG kit looked like something that comes from an RG kit. Especially when you consider, the design of the Interceptor’s Fellow Booster from the original illustration in the MSV wasn’t the best looking things that we’ve seen. We do think that the original MSV design looked a bit goofy and quite dated too.

With this version, the term goofy and dated really doesn’t apply here since we do think that the P-Bandai’s HG the Origins MSD design team really went all out designing the GM Interceptors Fellow Booster. The details that we see here is just insane, and the Fellow Booster makes the already badass looking GM Interceptor look even more badass here.

Though it is not to say nothing from the MSV was scrapped for this kit, there are still some of the MSV Design that is seen here, namely, that is seen from the awesome decals and color scheme. Combined with the awesome badass details, does make this one of the best MS Attachment units that we’ve seen to date.

It’s strange to see an addition to a kit could make a vanilla MS look badass

We are really looking forward to seeing more of this awesome attachment as soon as this is released in September.

You might be thinking, with us focusing so much on the Fellow Booster, what about the GM Interceptor itself? Are we still getting the GM Interceptor with the Fellow booster? Yes, this kit does come with the GM Interceptor included, with no major changes that we can see made to it. So to those that want more of the awesome GM Interceptor in their GM Interceptor collection, worry not because P-Bandai has your back, fam.

Although, after we take a closer look at this. We do think that the P-Bandai’s more complete version of the GM Interceptor does the ‘normal’ retail version of the GM Interceptor irrelevant. Because why would you want to get the normal version, when you can have this.

Which as well make us wonder if P-Bandai has any plans to just release the Fellow Booster as a separate release for those that have already owned and has no plans to add more GM Interceptor in their ever-growing gunpla collection.

Its probably impossible for us to see them do that, but honestly, it would be really nice if they could

Overall we do admit that the kit does look quite promising, though from what we are seeing here, it does seem like the humongous addition to the GM Interceptor does seem to limit the articulation of the kit quite a fair bit. Then again as we looked at how the Fellow Booster was mounted, honestly? We aren’t that surprised by the limitations seen here.

Regardless, we are really looking forward to seeing more of this, and hopefully, it would be as awesome as its awesome looks.

The Badass GM just made to look even more badass

This is an interesting one.

For one, the Gundam side story mangas have been one that we have been struggling to find for us to read online. Even in the paperback form, it’s really hard for us to find any of these awesome side stories for us to read and enjoy.

But, despite that being said we are always never failed to be quite mesmerized by how badass the original designs for the MS looked in mangas. Especially with the original version of the GM Dominance, we never knew that one can use all the existing design to make something looks this badass.

We thought back then, there is no way that they would make the already badass looking GM Dominance look even more badass, but we just been proven wrong. Because from the same manga, they have the Philip Hughes version of the GM Dominance.

Which looked….. WELL JUST LOOK AT IT.

BECAUSE IT HAD SOME BADASS LOOKING CHAINGUN SENTRY GUNS ATTACHED TO ITS BACK!

Although, from the outset, it doesn’t really seem like that the Philip Hughes version has any other MAJOR changes made to the kit besides the obvious color change, the new hardpoints for the sentry guns and the sentry guns itself. Yes overall if you have any experience with the MG GM Dominance, you will find that this kit would be “more” less the same experience.

But the additions and the minor changes that were made for the Philip Hughes version is the one that really makes this kit worth getting. Because even though the original version had us really impressed but the Philip Huges version really manages to make all of us here think that this is probably is one the best looking MG kits that we’ve seen to date.

The new ‘Philip Hughes’ color scheme, on the GM Dominance, is probably one of the reasons why we love this version of the MG GM Dominance over the original version that we see last year. Plus when you take a look at them awsome sentry guns…and just how awesome all of them looked makes us think of all the possibilities that we can do with this kind of set up.

I really don’t know who is this Philip Hughes fella is, but I commend his choice of color scheme for his GM Dominance

Although, we do feel like the ‘gun’ part on the sentry guns look awfully familliar…it looked like the same chain gun that we see on the MG Heavyarms…

Regardless, we are really excited for this MG kit and hopefully, this kit would be one that we could justify sacrificing our wallets to the underworld for.

Though, we fear that this might not be the last one that we would sacrifice the wallet to the great dark beyond…

1000136483_5
We are sure that there will be more insanely awesome looking MG P-Bandai kits that we would sacrifice our wallets to

With that concludes this week 111th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai announcements? Are you looking forward to all the upcoming P-Bandai offerings? We are again looking at some insane looking P-Bandai kits are coming over to grace us in the coming months..and it does look quite grim for our sad bank accounts.

In a serious note, looking at how badass all these news are for the P-Bandai side. It makes us wonder, what do the retail side have to offer to counter all these awesome releases from the P-Bandai side?

Whatever it is that is in store for us, we are really looking forward to it and it does seem like we are going to be looking at alot of awesome coming our way.

Anyways, we will be back again with more Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment on the next coming Wednesday and hopefully, this Sunday (or on Monday morning) Kimi will be back with the review or an Unboxing of a kit! So do look forward to that!
