P-Bandai is the reason why we all here wanted to be rich
HELLO! We are back!
In this week’s 113th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we are going back to take a look at some of the new P-Bandai release announcements. We are seeing alot of VERY interesting releases in this weeks kit announcements and like the ones that we’ve seen coming from the P-Bandai side a few weeks back, there are alot of kits here that we are quite interested in getting all of them…..
Too bad that our wallets would prevent us from doing that…
Anyways, so without further ado let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 LM313V10 Second Victory Gundam (HGUC)

Release Date: 2019/10
Estimated price: JPY 2,200* (MYR RM 83.77* / USD $ 20.38* / EUR € 18.13*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Before today we never knew that the Victory Gundam had a second variant made especially for Uso Ewin. Thanks to P-Bandai that we finally learned that there is such a thing as a second Victory Gundam and what’s more, we as well learned that there is such thing out there as a Victory Gundam Novels.
It is quite fascinating to us to have learned all of this in this way.
But we wouldn’t be as interested in learning all of that if P-Bandai didn’t do such a good job in creating this VERY good looking HGUC kit here. Because when we all saw it, we were all immediately fallen head over heels over this very handsome looking kit. Although, at first we all can’t help to feel that there is alot of the kit here that feels quite familiar…

Well, it only when we take a closer look at the base design of the P-Bandai’s HGUC Second Victory Gundam we realized that this P-Bandai HGUC kit uses many of the same parts taken from the retail’s version of the HGUC Victory Gundam and some from the HGUC V2 Gundam. So in a way we feel like to those quite familiar with the two retail versions will feel quite at home with this P-Bandai kit.
Which made us feel like we can as well create this if we were to go out of our way to just kitbash the two retail kits together, with some blue paints thrown in of course.
But after taking a MUCH more closer look, we as well-realized that P-Bandai didn’t just give the HGUC Second Victory a kitbashing treatment, they as well give both the HGUC V Gundam and the HGUC V2 existing frame some slight modifications on the leg unit, waist unit, and the shoulder armor unit. Not content with just modifying some of the sections up they as well gave the HGUC Second Victory a new awesome V2-ish looking backpack unit, and two new V2 Buster-ish backpack-mounted weapons.

Yes, technically the backpack unit and the mounted weapons of the Second Victory is not related to the V2’s and the V2 Buster’s version. But as we take a closer look at it, it is quite hard to deny those doesn’t look like the V2’s (and the V2 Buster’s). Regardless, it is an original design which is only native to this kit, and yes it does make the kit look badass. Despite the fact that it does have that ‘unfinished’ look.
We do think that P-Bandai did a damn good job in creating this kit.
Which is why we are quite taken by this and looking at how much is done to make this kit into reality, it as well makes us want to get it. So yeah, if it ever hits our local Gunpla stores, we might get it.

but that is as long as we can get the next one on the list first…..
RG 1/144 RX-93 ν Gundam Double Fin Funnel Expansion set (RG)

Release Date: 2019/11
Estimated price: JPY 1,870* (MYR RM 71.21* / USD $ 17.32* / EUR € 15.41*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

We are really excited about the upcoming release of the awesome RG ν Gundam, and from what we are seeing this week it seems like we are not the only one that is really excited for this RG kit release. It as well seems like the chaps in P-Bandai is are quite excited for the RG ν Gundam as well.
Why? Well Because a month before the kits eventual release, we are seeing the P-Bandai chaps made a release announcement of an expansion set for yet unreleased RG ν Gundam.
Which we do admit is quite an amusing thing to see, if we were, to be honest. haha.

Admittedly, we are quite happy that this expansion set was announced. Although looking at the ν Gundam’s popularity, the RG ν Gundam Fin Funnel expansion set it is not something that we are that surprised to see being announced. It is something that is expected by many people, including us.
But even with that said, we weren’t expecting to see that the set doesn’t just consist of only the additional Fin Funnels for the RG ν Gundam. It looks as well they are including an ‘MG’ style stand, which looked freak-king badass and they as well included some clear funnel stand attachments too with the expansion set. Which is going to be really useful to those thinking of posing the RG ν Gundam with its funnels deployed!

It’s quite rare for us to see P-Bandai releasing something that is quite useful here and something that isn’t looking to make us sell our kidneys. So we should give credit to them for being really sensible this time.
Plus as we looked at all the awesome stuff that this set comes with, it as well made us think that this is going to be an essential set to get if one thinks of really fully showcasing their awesome RG ν Gundam!
However, there is one downside to this kit, that is we have to wait for quite a bit to get it. Hopefully, the upcoming RG ν Gundam is awesome enough to make the wait for the Expansion set worth waiting for.

MG 1/100 F-91 Gundam F-91 Harrison Madin Custom Ver.2.0

Release Date: 2019/10
Estimated price: JPY 4,620* (MYR RM 175.92* / USD $ 42.80* / EUR € 38.21*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Aaah, yes the Harrison Madin’s custom F91.
We should’ve known that the time we had with you as a retail variant would eventually come to an end when they announced the MG Ver.2.0 version.
In which as well reminded us that we haven’t had yet gotten any of the new MG F91 Ver.2.0 kit or even the Ver.1.0 variants here in the Homebase. Maybe we should change that soon…with doing a very interesting double MG feature perhaps?
Anyways, let us get back to talking about this version for the time being, shall we?
Honestly, despite us feeling sad to see this getting the P-Bandai treatment, but this was one of those MG kits that we can actually really see it being re-made into P-Bandai.

Because from the start it really had all the qualities of becoming one, even in its retail MG Ver.1.0 version, we thought that the kit is something that we would see released as a P-Bandai now if they didn’t release it as a retail kit. So it was only natural for us to assume at first that we are most likely will be getting the MG F91 Harrison Madin Ver.2.0 version as a P-Bandai release as we saw the regular retail version that was released last year.
But we do find it strange that for this P-Bandai took their sweet time to announce the MG F91 Harrison Madin’s Ver.2.0 version.
But we kind of know why they took their time with this, because when you consider the fact that we used to get this as a normal retail release with the MG Ver.1.0. The release of this as a P-Bandai version may not sit too well with alot of people and we may think that is why they took their time with this.
Which kind of a good idea, because even though there are people that are mad to see this being released as a P-Bandai. But there were alot more people that we’ve talked to which was more glad to finally see this version being announced regardless. We assumed that is why they took their time announcing this, because they know alot more would be pissed off if they were to announce it as soon as the retail version was released.

As we take a closer look at the MG F91 Harrison Madin Ver.2.0’s kit, we deduced that the kit is just basically just the same MG F91 Ver.2.0 kit with just a different paint job done to it. But then again, when we look back at the Retail version it is as well basically just the same thing with the original MG vER.1.0. So it is something that we aren’t surprised by, to be honest.
But because this MG F91 variant is based on the Ver.2.0 design. It does make this version look even more badass than its MG Ver.1.0 counterpart. Frankly, some of us here are really quite taken by how awesome this looked, and admittedly some of us here might be quite compelled to get this eventually…..
But since we haven’t built the MG F-91 Ver.2.0 it is hard for us to really determine if this is worth getting. But if we were to just determine it by the looks? Yes, some of us here do think that the MG Ver.2.0 Harrison Madin’s F91 is a worthwhile purchase if we are only just basing our opinion by how the kits looked.

Well, that is as long if you are a big fan of the MG F91 Ver.2.0’s design or if you are an avid P-Bandai Gunpla collector. But if you have already owned the MG F91 Ver.2.0 and not as interested with getting another MG F91 Ver.2.0 you can give this one a pass. Oh, if you are as well not really a fan of a blue, yellow color schemed F91, well you can as well give this one a pass.
Like a certain someone here, which isn’t a big fan of that color scheme. Which as well is tasked in doing the edits and the whole write up here…haha.

With that concludes this week 113th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai announcements? Are you looking forward to all the upcoming P-Bandai offerings? Again we do think that P-Bandai is killing it this week too with some pretty badass kit release announcements.
But at the same time, we do think that they have as well successfully killed our wallets too.
