The black pirate finally sets sail, towards a P-Bandai release
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 127th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be going back taking a look at one very interesting kit release announcement from P-Bandai and which is as well one kit that we kind of already expecting announced as a P-Bandai release.
A P-Bandai kit that is based on the brilliant recently released RG Crossbone variant.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
RG 1/144 XM-X2 Crossbone Gundam X-2
Release Date: 2019/12
Estimated price: JPY 3,190* (MYR RM 123.28* / USD $ 29.50* / EUR € 26.78*)

This P-Bandai kit is one that we already know coming for the RG Crossbone variant line up. We know for a fact that P-Bandai would be banking on the love we all have for the RG Crossbone and its badass design. P-Bandai knew that too with us already seeing the PO for RG X-2 already going into secondary PO open for Feb 2020 shipment for this RG kit.
It clearly shows how most of us here really are quite excited into getting the RG X-2 variant of the X-2 Crossbone. So what new things here that we would expect here with this P-Bandai version of the RG Crossbone?
Well, there is alot of changes that could be seen made for the X-2 version here, for an instance a combination of dark blue, purple and the familiar yellow color scheme of the X-2. Not to mention as well, changes/ additions made to some parts of the head unit, the V fin the inclusion of a new unique weapon system that is specially made for the X-2.
Looking at all the new things that the X-2 gets here, we do admit that we were all here quite impressed by how good some with the new things that was added. But the best bit is really the badass color scheme, the one that we really feel sells the kit to all of us here.
However, it is not to say that this would be any different then what we experience with the retail version. Even though yes it does have some extras included here, but overall we don’t really expect the experience that you’ll get building this to be any different then what you experience with this P-Bandai version.
But even with that said, we do admit that we do love the overall look of the X-2 and since the RG Crossbone itself is a kit that we really had fun building, we really don’t mind getting more variants of it, if it means that we get to build more RG Crossbone.
This is definitely one RG kit that goes on our P-Bandai want list.
