Non-gunpla but gundam related stuff segment

In today’s 129th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at some of the non-gunpla, but Gundam related P-Bandai exclusive merchandise that we do find to be quite interesting. Frankly, it has been a while since we could take the time to be able to talk about some of the Action Figures that was released under the Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> line up.
We are glad that since there are no Gunpla announcements this week from both sides, we can really take the time to talk about these badass looking Action Figs.
So without further ado, lets us get into it, shall we?
Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> RGC-80 GM Cannon African Campaign Type Ver.A.N.I.M.E
Release Date: 2020/02

Truth to be told, we really wanted to start collecting the Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> Action Figures. Even though, yes, we are quite interested with some of the releases, but for Gunpla Builders like all of us here getting these at a Mid-Tier MG kit price point is a bit hard to justify.
Not to mention too, if we do find something that we fancy after taking the time to save up for one. Getting the exact one that you like can be a bit of a nightmare, because either the price would be overblown by scalpers or they just stop producing it altogether.
Which is why up until today we still haven’t managed to snag one that we all wanted.
Regardless, we are glad that at the very least today we have the time to really talk about them. Because at the very least, even though we can never be lucky enough to get one, we at least can talk about them. Today we get to talk about two that we all here find it to be quite interesting, and one of them would be this, the Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> GM Cannon African Campaign Ver.A.N.I.M.E.
To those that are already quite familiar with the Robot Spirits GM Cannon, you will find this to be just like the original version with the exception of a different color scheme of course. As we take a closer look at this Action Figure, we as well can conclude that the points of articulation that you may have experianced with the original variant will as well be the same here.
However, it is not to say that there are no changes or additions made for this version to justify getting em. like for instance, besides the brown color scheme, this version as well gets the ‘African Campaign” decals. You as well get a few new additions to the GM Cannon’s arsenal like the BOWA BR-M-82L-9 L-9 Type Beam Rifle and NF·GMG-Type.37/100mm machine gun. What’s more, on top of all the new weapons that you get here, you as well still get the same weapons from the original version here.
As we looked at how many things that was included here for this version, we do admit that is is hard for us to find reasons to not get this. Especially considering those which is a huge fan of the original Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> GM Cannon. However, looking at that price, it is as well hard for non-fans to justify getting it aswell. So if unless you are a fan or a Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> Collector, please do by all means get this but if you are not, with that kind asking price? You might as well use the money and get yourselves a P-Bandai MG GM Cannon kit instead.
However, the next one that we are going to talk about is probably one that even we feel even non-fans would find it hard to not miss…
Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> YMS-16M Xamel Ver.A.N.I.M.E

The Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> Xamel.
Really it would be insane of me to talk about the Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> action figures without covering this piece of insane and beautiful brown plastic. Even though this particular Action Figure’s PO has been opened for quite a bit, due to the very tight schedule we really didn’t manage to cram this into any of the previous segments.
But now since things are a lil bit quiet on the Gunpla releases for both the Retail side and the P-Bandai side, what better time to finally talk about this plastic beast then now.
Frankly, this is one Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> Action figure that I don’t think anyone that sees this wouldn’t want to have. Just take a look at that massive piece of plastic here.
Although, when we first heard rumors that we would be seeing it in the Robot Spirits form, we thought that there is no way that this MASSIVE thing would be able to articulate itself or even if it can articulate itself, we don’t think there will a stand strong enough to hold that massive beautiful plastic without breaking itself into pieces.
However, when we thing was finally officially announced. We were quite shocked to see on how well the Xamel is able to articulate itself and not to mention too that it as well comes with a display stand that which looks to be able too to sustain this bad boy which as well looks pretty badass. What’s more, we as well starting to be huge fans of the effect parts that come together with this, all of them looks pretty well produced and not to mention it as well further enhances the action scenes that you may have in mind to pose the Xamel with.
We admit that when we this, we were pretty impressed by how far they went to make this look badass and not to mention too managed to create something this bulky that can almost articulate itself like it was a normal-sized MS.
Seriously this is an impressive thing indeed.
Although we do admit that all of these does come with a hefty price tag attached to this Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS>. Which admittedly we are not surprised by when we all saw it. However, this is really one Robot Spirits <SIDE-MS> model that we can imagine it to be something that alot of us here already put down in our WANT lists.
Looking at how badass this is, we do wonder when we will be able to see this eventually being made into a gunpla form? We gunpla builders would pretty much love to have this in gunpla form now, thank you.
Seriously, we have been waiting for this to happen as a Gunpla for a long time now.
