In today’s 131^st let’s talk gunpla segment, we will be looking at one pretty interesting retail gunpla news that was just recently announced. We would admit that today we will be MAINLY would be talking about the NEW HG Grampa variant, however, this is one that we would say is a bit different compared to all the other HG Grampa variants that we have seen to date.

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

What happens when you let both a film Director and a world-renowned car designer have a free hand to recreate the Gramps?

Well, you end up with one of the weirdest looking Gramps yet.

Why so? well…we do admit when we saw this have a feeling that this is not going to be the one that would be winning hearts. Even we here in the blog struggle to find anything that we like when it comes down to its looks.

But the same thing cannot be said about its badass articulation system. Because God, when we all saw it, we all here were spellbound by what this Version of the HG Gramps could do. Because from what we are seeing here, it looks like an articulation system that we would normally see on the much more expensive / bigger scaled MG or RG kits.

Which is something that, we admit that we are quite impressed by.

Which kind of as well explains why we would see the price was set as such. For that much innovation that we see being made here, it kind of made sense why the kit is a bit more pricer compared to the other HG Gramps variants.

Although looking at this one does wonder if all the future HG Gunpla would as well come with this kind of insane articulation like we are seeing here with this version? If it does, well, this might be the start of seeing more and more insane HG kits in the near future.

Although we are still quite torn in between getting this, or not. But frankly, looking at how much we are gunpla we are getting here with this version of the HG Gramps, it would be insane for us to not get this insane HG kit.
