Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.135

The last big retail news that we would cover this week, before heading to the P-Bandai side

HELLO! We are back!

In this today’s 135th edition of Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking one last look at the retail side and talk about the one particular retail release…which until today we haven’t talked about since the kit hasn’t really had the confirmed name placement for this it.

One release that might be the first HGBD: R kit besides the Salsteam that we might be getting.

So without further ado, let us get to it, shall we?

HG 1/144 New Equipment System A [Tentative Name] (HGBD:R)

HG 1/144 New Equipment System A [Tentative Name] (HGBD:R)

Release Date: 2020/01

Estimated price: JPY 1,700* (MYR RM 76.32* / USD $ 18.19* / EUR € 16.56*)

I admit that this is a badly edited picture coming from the Bandai but it is an interesting thing to know that you can mount one of the weapons on the stand.

We find it quite strange that the only variant of the HGBD Core/Earthtree Gundam is the only one kit from the retail release announcement that hasn’t had a proper name for yet…that we actually like

Yes, it is the only Core/Earthtree Gundam variant that we here find it to be one of the most badass looking one out of all the HGBD Core/Earthtree Gundam attachments that we’ve seen to date. It was something here that we do feel might be the first variant out of the 4 that we might get.

Though we do admit that at first we kind of finding it a bit strange that why do we like the design here more than the other three. But after comparing the other designs of the Core/Earthtree Gundam series to this and after we all here have a long discussion on why we love this particular kit. We realized that Compared to the other three variants, this might be the one that we think is the best-designed variant out of all.

By far one of the best looking variants out of all the HGBD: R Core/Earthtree Gundam variants

Why do we claimed it to be so, well because as we looked at it closely we can actually see the level of detail and love that was done here, from the small verniers on the shoulder area that looks really amazing and not just be something that was molded together with the shoulder armor piece, to its very nice almost all-white color scheme, and to its really well designed attachment which can as well transform into two different-ish forms. Frankly, this is really one kit that we really struggle to find anything that we don’t like with this version.

Which admittedly we do think is quite amazing that we got to this point of time that we actually do find a variant of the HGBD: R Core/Earthtree Gundam Variant that we actually liked

It is quite amusing to see how some of the weapons work for this variant

This variant is really starting to win our hearts here in the blog and yes we definitely have this in our sights for the next year’s HG release.

We have a feeling that things will get better for the HGBD: R line-up from here onwards.

With that concludes today’s 135th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this Retail side Gunpla release announcement? Are you looking forward to this upcoming Retail Gunpla release? We finally get to cover all the recent main retail Gunpla releases for next year, and now we really can’t wait to see and talk about all the interesting the P-Bandai side has to offer.
