P-Bandai’s Halloween gunpla announcements
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 139th edition of Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will again be taking a look at P-Bandai since there were alot more interesting Gunpla releases that was made recently and once again we are seeing the Ace Pilot Log P-Bandai line up releasing another kit under the 1/144 scale.
But unlike last week, this week we will be seeing release under the HGUC line, a set of P-Bandai kits announcements in which coincidentally well fits into today’s, Halloween celebrations.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 RX-79 [G] SW Slave Wraith (Parachute Pack unit) (HGUC)

Release Date: 2020/04
Estimated price: JPY 2,420* (MYR RM 93.01* / USD $ 22.24* / EUR € 20.00*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

This is a P-Bandai HGUC kit that we all here admit that we were all quite impressed to see when we saw it for the first time.
The reason being is that we have always been HUGE fans of the original RX-79 [G] designs and as well we are as well big fans of the HGUC version of it as well. So for us to see a much more badass version of our favorite MS design coming next year does admittedly excites the living daylights out of us here. Haha.
Though we are sure there are alot many others here that saw it as well had the same thought because just look at it.

Even though it is technically just the same HGUC RX-79 [G] with a different paint job, but the difference is enough to make one water their mouths at the sight of this badass looking HG kit. Though we do admit that calling it just a recolored RX-79 [G] is a bit misleading, since there are quite a few changes that was made for this version.
For instance, the Slave Wraith version of the RX-79 [G] gets a ‘Gundam katana’ styled new head unit and shoulder unit that look like it was taking inspiration from the GM Striker design. You as well get a nice dual vernier styled GM Backpack unit and the Parachute unit backpack that is taken from the previously released P-Bandai RX-79 [G] Ground Type Parachute pack. Not to mention too that this kit aswell comes with that badass emblem decal.

We do admit seeing all of these in an HGUC package does start to look quite enticing for both fans of the RX-79 [G]’s designs (Like us) and to non-fans too because it does slowly look to us that this is looking to be a worthwhile investment.
Plus since it is based on an excellent HGUC kit, we have a feeling that this P-Bandai version isn’t going to be a disappointment to any that gets this piece of badass plastic. We all here are definitely looking forward to this one and hopefully, it would be as good to build as its nice to see.

HG 1/144 RX-78-XX Gundam Pixie (Slave Wraith colors)

Release Date: 2020/04
Estimated price: JPY 2,200* (MYR RM 84.56* / USD $ 20.22* / EUR € 18.19*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

The Slave Wraith Pixie Gundam is another one upcoming Ace Pilot Log P-Bandai HGUC kit that is slotted to be released at the same time as the RX-79 [G] SW Slave Wraith.
Although unlike the previously talked about HGUC RX-79 [G] SW Slave Wraith, the Slave Wraith Pixie is just basically just a recolored version of the previously released P-Bandai HGUC version of the Pixie. Though we do admit that we are a bit disappointed that they didn’t take design cues from the Gundam Missing Link game, which would have the pixie sport a much more boxier look.

But it is not to say that we didn’t like the look of the HGUC Pixie at all here, because we do admit that almost all of us here do adore the look of the original HGUC Pixie. Frankly, we here really didn’t mind getting more of Gundam Pixie, especially considering that it now sports a real badass color scheme here.
Even with that said, to those that have already purchased the previous version of the Gundam Pixie, we can understand if you do not find this to not be an appealing purchase since it is technically just the same HGUC Pixie. But to those that was unfortunate enough to not get the previous version, this might be one’s chance to get the best-looking variant of the HGUC Pixie.

We as well feel that fans of the Slave Wraith should as well not miss this one, because we do think that it would be a real shame not to be able to complete the trio of absolute badasses.
Although speaking of a trio of absolute badasses, as we take a much closer look at the promotional materials, it does seem to us like they still have one more HGUC from this line up that at the time of writing this, that they haven’t announced yet.

We have a strong feeling that they will announce it soon enough, in which we will talk about it further in the next segment for sure.
With that concludes today’s 139th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of all of these badass P-Bandai Gunpla release announcements? Are you looking forward to all of these upcoming P-Bandai Gunpla HGUC 2020 releases? After a long hiatus, we do think that the Ace Pilot Log line up is coming back with a bang this time. Although we have yet heard anything to come for the MG line up, which is what we are looking forward to most to see if we were, to be honest.
Although we do have a feeling that this might not be the last time that we would hear from the chaps from the Ace Pilot Log P-Bandai team. We have a feeling that they might have still some more interesting cards in their sleeves and we don’t just mean those from the Slave Wraith team line up.
Anyways, we will be back again with more gunpla news on this coming Friday and as well on the next coming Wednesday! Kimi will be back again this Monday with an Unboxing or a Review. So do look forward to that!
