Hey….have we met before?

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 142nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at a surprise P-Bandai lone gunpla announcement that was made today. Which is an unexpected release announcement from the P-Bandai HG Gundam the Origins side…..

One which when we all here saw it, the first thing that we all here have in mind when seeing it is:- Isn’t this particular kit already released by the Retail side?

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

So what is new again here?

When we saw this, we at first thought…eh wasn’t the HG GM Guard Custom is already out for the retail side? Why is this retail kit being listed as a P-Bandai kit all a sudden? Only after taking a closer look, only then we realized why we are seeing this kit listed under P-Bandai.

Because actually there are some changes that was done to this version as versus to what we actually get with the retail version. From what we are seeing here, this version might be the closest thing to the MSV version. In which does make us all here think, why wasn’t this version get the retail release?

Why didn’t we get this version instead?

You would feel the same way too if you ever took the time to compare the two here. There were alot of subtle changes that was made to this version, like a new mold for the chest unit, and backpack. Not to mention to they added a pair of E2 Beam Spray Gun for this version of the GM Guard Custom as well.

Though the color scheme remains mostly the same but looking at it we really can’t shake the feeling that this version looks alot more SHINIER compared to the retail variant. Which begs the question, the P-Bandai version of the GM Guard Custom has the Metallic Gloss Injection treatment to its parts?

This probably the pose that I had in mind to do when we have this in our disposal

Regardless of what has been done to this version, we do admit that we are quite interested in this variant of the P-Bandai’s HG GM Guard Custom. It does look quite good and all in all, we think its a pretty good investment, if you haven’t owned the GM Guard Custom, and currently considering to get the HG Origins MSD GM Guard Custom. Or even to those collecting GM Origins GM variants, this is as well a pretty good investment to those mentioned.

It’s just that it would be nice if they were to give this a retail release instead.

This is another pose that I’m currently thinking of doing, well as long I have the money to back me up into getting this badass GM variant.

With that concludes today’s 142nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this particular P-Bandai HG Gundam the Origins MSD release announcement? Are you looking forward to this upcoming P-Bandai HG Gundam the Origins MSD release? We do admit that we had to amend the post a bit here today because we were quite mad when we saw it for the first time earlier.

But after taking a much closer look, we realized that the P-Bandai version of the HG GM Guard Custom really has alot to offer here.

Anyways, we will be back again with more gunpla news on the next coming Wednesday and as well on the next coming Friday! Kimi will be back again this Monday with an Unboxing or a review of a kit. So do look forward to that!
