Finally a piece of news on a P-Bandai MG kit and a P-Bandai PG kit as well
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 147th edition of Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be again taking a look at P-Bandai and discuss a couple of new release announcements that was made recently by them. P-Bandai Gunpla announcements which are consisted of a new P-Bandai MG release announcement and another of a PG release announcement.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
PG 1/60 Perfect Strike Gundam Expansion parts for PG Strike Gundam

This is one release announcement which when we saw it made all of us here smile. Because it is nice to see P-Bandai announcing something that is for the existing owners of the PG Strike Gundam. This is definitely one news that we feel would lessen the pain of most of you after seeing the retail side announcement of the PG Perfect Strike Gundam.
Anyways, enough of that let us take a closer look at what this expansion set has to offer, shall we?
Upon closer inspection of the Expansion parts promotional materials, it kind of confirms our suspicions on the PG Striker packs. Because previously we kind of suspect that the striker pack which comes with the PG Perfect Strike Gundam could as well be mounted on the older version of the PG Strike Gundam without a need to modify any parts of the older version of the PG Strike Gundam. But back then we aren’t sure if that is is possible because we aren’t sure if the mounting on the new PG Perfect Strike is the same as the normal Strike, but after seeing this we can confirm that the older strike can mount the all the new striker package that comes with the PG Perfect strike.

Which does make us wonder, since that the older version as well can mount the Striker pack, what new things that we might expect with the PG Perfect Strike now besides its aesthetics that would make one want to get it? Especially when considering that this Expansion set is a hell of alot cheaper option to go for.
Regardless, it is not to say that ALL of what we see with the new PG Strike Gundam makes it to this Expansion set. Because the Aile Strike pack that comes together with this set is based on the older design, not the newer one that we see that comes with the upcoming PG Perfect Strike Gundam. So maybe there is still a good reason to get the PG Perfect Strike still….since it does look quite badass.

But as we take a closer look at the old Aile Strike, we can understand the reasoning behind why they opted to go for this version and not the newer one. We have a feeling that they might want to maintain ‘some’ of the older version’s aesthetics.
But even with that said, the same cannot be said for the rest of the Striker packs.
Because the rest of the Striker package is based on the upcoming PG Perfect Strike Gundam. But it is not to say it is a bad thing since both the Launcher Strike and the Sword Strike looks quite good on the old PG Strike Gundam. Maybe its due to the fact that this is the first iteration that we see of the Striker package in PG form. But regardless we do think that this is something is worth getting if you are in the market of giving the old PG Strike an upgrade.

All in all, we do think that this is a piece of good news coming from P-Bandai. Definitely something rare indeed.
MG 1/100 ZGMF-1001/K Slash Zaku Phantom (Yzak Joule Custom)

Release Date: 2020/04
Estimated price: JPY 4,950* (MYR RM 189.63* / USD $ 45.37* / EUR € 41.18*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

After a long wait for a new MG news from P-Bandai, we are finally graced with one from P-Bandai and what better way to return to announcing MG kits with gracing us with the announcement of the… MG Yzak Joule’s Slash Zaku Phantom.
We were all quite impressed by what we are seeing here, because….well….take a look at it.

Yes even though we would admit that mainly this kit inherits many of the badass looks of its predecessor (the recently released MG Lunamaria Gunner Zaku, that is). But the reason why we are impressed by what we see here wasn’t just due to its good looks, it was aswell due to the changes that were made and as well due to the additions that are included here.
There is alot of additions that was made here to this version that we can see. Like with this version you get a backpack unit with the “Hydra” Gattling Beam Cannon attached to it, and you as well get the badass Falx G-7 Beam Axe. Not to mention as well the changes made to the shoulder armor with both sides of the shoulder armors sporting the mounted shield unit.

But for us, the real selling point of this kit is most definitely that change that was made to its color scheme. Because since all us here are a big fan of blue-colored kits, seeing how good the blue here looked on the MG Yzak’s Slash Zaku Phantom really sells the idea of us getting this P-Bandai MG kit.

Though it does make us wonder if we would be seeing the MG Zaku Phantom Ray Za Burrel as a retail release? Or will that as well be locked away as a P-Bandai release? Well, time will tell, but we here really hope that we would see the Ray Za Burrel’s version to come as a retail release next year.
Because that would really suck if the MG Ray Za Burrel’s Zaku Phantom gets a P-Bandai release.

With that concludes today’s 147th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of these P-Bandai release announcements? Are you looking forward to all of these awesome upcoming P-Bandai releases? We are quite impressed by the announcements that was made this week. From the Perfect Strike Gundam Expansion for the PG Strike Gundam’s announcement to the MG Yazak’s Slash Zaku Phantom’s announcement, there is alot that we see here that we feel would be quite a hit for a lot of people that sees these.
Which does help us to really get quite hyped up for 2020 because now it does start to make us wonder of what manner of awesomeness that we would be seeing coming to us all next year?
