Looking at a China-Exclusive P-Bandai PG kit.
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 152nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, today we will be doing something a little bit different. Because eventhough we are going to be taking a look at P-Bandai, but we are not going to be talking about announcements from the P-Bandai Japan side, instead we will be taking a look at P-Bandai China… since they recently made an announcement of an Exclusive PG P-Bandai kit.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

This is actually one news that we all here find to be quite amusing. The reason being for this is that it has been quite a while since we see P-Bandai release Country exclusive kits nowadays. We thought the appeal of ‘Country’ locking a gunpla release has waned on them since they have been doing alot to try to appeal to the international mass market, so seeing them doing this now does make us wonder why they decided to do so? Why starve the whole world with a variant of the 00 that we’ve have….well kind of been getting the P-Bandai ‘international via proxy’ release?
Admittedly, thinking about that does manage to piss us off with P-Bandai, however, we all here got alot more pissed off when this question popped into our heads: Why didn’t they just release a proper ‘China” exclusive 00 seven sword kit? They have been doing that with the Gramps, why they feel the need to lock the kit that would be better off sold to the international market?
Honestly, we will never know what they are thinking when they decided on this, and no amount of anger will make them change their minds of releasing the PG 00 Seven Sword Inspection like this. But we really do sure hope that in the future we don’t see more kits getting the ‘Country’ exclusive release like this PG kit…
Anyways, let us now talk more about this ‘China’ special PG 00 Seven sword and what makes this so ‘special’. Well after taking a closer look at this and comparing it to the retail side’s PG 00 Seven Sword….all we can say is that there isn’t any actual structural difference between this and the P-Bandai ‘China’ special PG 00 Seven Sword Inspection version. It is basically just the same PG 00 Seven Sword.
The thing that differentiates this version to the retails version is seen on the color scheme between the two. The China P-Bandai’s PG 00 Seven Sword Inspection here we can see that it gets the ‘Heine Westenfluss’ treatment where it does get the very pretty orange color scheme which replaces the Blue from the retail variant. Just like the Heine’s version, we do as well find the orange color scheme does make the kit look more appealing compared to its retail brethren.
Admittedly, we do think that this isn’t the kind of news that most fans of the 00 around the globe would like to hear, especially those which was big fans of the PG 00 Seven Sword kit. Because this would definitely mean that this PG kit is going to be INSANELY expensive. Not just from the infamous P-Bandai tax slapped on it, you will most definitely as well be slapped by the scalper tax on the darn thing as well.
When we all saw this we all feel for the fans of the 00 Seven Sword. Because we can already imagine the kind of hurdles that one will have to go through for this PG kit.
Which is quite unfortunate, since we all really think that this is a very pretty looking PG 00 variant.
With that concludes today’s 152nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this P-Bandai China release announcement? Are you looking forward to this P-Bandai release? Its a bit frustrating to see a beautiful PG kit like getting the P-Bandai treatment. But it was made worse when they as well made it be a country exclusive PG kit.
We can already see the scalpers hovering over this kit like freakking vultures, awaiting the day that they can sell these beautiful things at an insane cutthroat price. We really hope that we won’t be seeing P-Bandai continue on with this practice moving forward.
