Work in Progress III: P-Bandai MG 1/100 MS-06FS Zaku II Garma Zabi Custom (MG)

The final update, most definitely

Again I’m finding myself in this situation where I had to do another WIP post. I was really hoping that the kit would be completed at the weekend, but I really didn’t expect to see myself being so insanely busy at the weekend that it took alot of my time away from building the kit from me.

Regardless, I do find it quite interesting that eventhough my work progress was slower this year, but I do find myself enjoying the process of building, even more, this time around. Which does make me feel a little bit conflicted? Somehow?

But enough of that, let me now give you guys my thoughts on my current progress of this P-Bandai MG kit, shall we?

I had a pretty fun time working on these. I was still one of the most interesting MG feet inner frames that I have the pleasure of working on, not to mention it was as well one of the most insanely detailed feet inner frames that I have seen to date and the best looking ones too.

This is why towards the end of the day, I was left wondering why aren’t there more MG feet that are as good and as fun to build like these.

I do find myself unable to fully express my happiness of having another chance to work on another Zaku II variant’s leg unit. Because it was always a joy to go through the process of seeing how everything just comes together nicely towards the end with these legs. It was as well nice to see how good the inner frame still as well.

I think the toughest thing that I had to go through while working on this section was really when I got to the part where I need to work on the valve part for this MG Zaku II’s leg unit. Unlike the valve unit on the chest unit, the valves here are quite flimsy and can be a bit of a pain to deal with. However as soon as you got it right, well you do end up with something that looks really badass.

Overall, I do find that the experience that I go through working on this section has been quite a positive experience for me so far. But that is because I’m still working on the parts that I’m quite familiar with which is the good MG Zaku II Ver.2.0 bits. Although there is one bit that I worked on here which is from P-Bandai which I do find to be quite alright overall. But I have yet worked on a part which is completely from the P-Bandai side yet since most of the P-Bandai parts are from the weapons side, I guess I will eventually get there.

I do look forward to the time that I get to work on the P-Bandai bits, I really hope that they are as good as the other good MG Zaku II Ver.2.0 bits.

With that ends this week’s third Work in Progress post for the P-Bandai MG 1/100 MS-06FS Zaku II Garma Zabi Custom (MG) which I hope this would be the final update for the week(fingers crossed). What do you think of my thoughts on the kit and how the MG kit looked so far? Did you experience the same things that I did? Or did you guys find out things that I didn’t on my run here? This week’s slow progress was really my fault really, I really didn’t take into account on my workload to be quite heavy during the weekend, however, with the kit now at its final stages you can expect to see no more delays from me this week.

The review will be up next week.

Although I do start to wonder if I should skip on to work on the MG Barbatos since that has been on my mind all the while I’m working on this…..Do let me know if you do think that is a good idea, or if you still want me to work on the Expo RG Heine’s Destiny?

Anyways, we will be back again with more Let’s Talk Gunpla segment on this coming Wednesday and Friday! Kimi as well will be back again on the next Monday with a new Unboxing or a Review or another one of these WIP blog post. So do look forward to that!
