Oh hello, it looks like we are seeing more Advance of z HGUC in 2020
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 173rd edition Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be again will be taking a look at P-Bandai but this time instead of continuing where we left off last Wednesday we would instead cover some 2 new P-Bandai HGUC release announcements that was made recently.
Interestingly, the two new P-Bandai HGUC release announcements that was made recently it is for Advance of Z line up.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 RX-121-3C Gundam TR-1 [Haze’n-thley](HGUC)

Release Date: 2020/06
Estimated price: JPY 3,850* (MYR RM 147.03* / USD $ 34.92* / EUR € 31.83*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Ever since P-Bandai takes over the rights to create Gunplas from the Advance of Z IP from the retail side. We have seen P-Bandai did well here with releasing one insane gunpla after another. We here really thought after the release of the badass HGUC [Haze’n-thley II] and the HGUC [Haze’n-thley II-Rah] that they might slow down with the badassery.
But no.
It seems like even in 2020 the P-Bandai Advance of Z kits we seeing P-Bandai releasing more badass HGUC kits. But this time instead of just hitting us with just one release announcement at one time, they decide to hit us with two, yes two upcoming 2020 HGUC Advance of Z kit and this is one of the HGUC Advance of Z kits that P-Bandai here has prepared for release in this coming June.

From what we are seeing here, we are admittedly quite impressed by how insanely awesome the design of this kit here. Although we do think that this HGUC version looks a bit thinner when compared to the Advance of Z novel version. But somehow rather we here do find that the HGUC design to look better the illustrated version.
Strange…
Anyways, as the name suggests it is quite obvious that many of the original HGUC TR-1 parts made a return to this kit, albeit with alot of badass-looking new parts thrown into the mix as well.

As you can see on the promotional picture above, almost all the top half section of this kit, parts of the waist unit, feet, arm unit, and the weapons are all new parts that was specifically created for this P-Bandai HGUC kit. Even though all the new parts for this kit looked really good on this HGUC kit but the new part that we see on the waist section of this kit that actually gets our attention here.
Because it looked like they just strapped another chest unit on TR-1 [Haze’n-thley]’s waist. Which we do admit, when we look at it with that thought in mind, it does look quite funny to us. Even with that said and done, we actually don’t think it looked bad tho, in fact, we do think that the strange design of the TR-1 [Haze’n-thley] waist unit kinda fits the look…
somehow?

Regardless, this is a P-Bandai HGUC Advance of Z kit that we are really looking forward to seeing more of, but this is not the only kit that P-Bandai had line up. They are as well have…
This.
HG 1/144 RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Kehaar II](HGUC)

Release Date: 2020/06
Estimated price: JPY 2,750* (MYR RM 106.70* / USD $ 25.24* / EUR € 22.95*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

The TR-6 [Kehaar] is the second Advance of Z HGUC kit that was announced recently by P-Bandai chaps and just like the TR-1 [Haze’n-thley] that we just talked about, the TR-6 [Kehaar II] is as well a good looking HGUC kit.
Although we can’t help to feel that there are some parts that looked awfully familiar here and there when we saw it for the first time. True enough after we did some investigative work and as well after taking a closer look at the HGUC TR-6 [Kehaar II]’s promotional materials. We can now safely deduce that most of the HGUC TR-6 [Kehaar II]’s parts are repurposed from the awesome TR-6 Woundwort.

But unlike the HGUC TR-1 [Haze’n-thley] where most parts looked new, the parts for the HGUC TR-6 [Kehaar II] looked to be more like upgrade/addition to the existing HGUC Woundwort parts. However, it is quite clear to us that it wasn’t just an upgrade to improve the performance it was as well an upgrade to make the Woundwort looked even more like a badass
We are really quite impressed with what we see here, but we are more impressed by the HGUC TR-6 [Kehaar II]’s transformation abilities. Because from what we are seeing here the HGUC TR-6[Kehaar II] is able to transform into a much more badass version of the Asshimar. Which we here do think its pretty sweet already, since we are all here fans of the original Asshimar’s design.

All in all this kit is looking like a pretty sweet deal for us here and we all here can’t wait to see what more that they have in store for us in 2020. We do hope that we would see P-Bandai announce something interesting for the MG side of the Advance of Z kit as well since it has been quite a while since we hear P-Bandai mentioned anything for the MG side for this Advance of Z line up.

Honestly, we really feel like the P-Bandai MG line-up really needs to get some more love from the Advance of Z IP.
With that concludes today’s 173rd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of all of these P-Bandai HGUC Advance of Z release announcements? Are you looking forward to these P-Bandai HGUC Advance of Z releases? It does look like we are going to be getting alot of really awesome HGUC Advance of Z kits this year and by the looks of it, we won’t be surprised if more badass kits are coming to this line up soon.
Thinking of that does make us feel quite happy may we don’t have to wait long for that to happen.
