In today’s 180th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at one of the most interesting P-Bandai MG announcements that we have seen to date. Because this week we FINALLY have new news from the MG F90 A to Z project, and from the looks of it, it seems like we are going to be getting one very interesting upcoming MG F90 bundled together with a piece of equipment, all in one release!
So without further ado let us get into it, shall we?
MG 1/100 F90II Gundam F90II w/ I Type equipment (MG)

This is really one piece of P-Bandai news that I really didn’t expect to see being made like this. Because this might be the very first set from the F90 A to Z project that actually comes with a different variant of the F90, the F90II.
Because from what we here all know that since the F90II is the variant that had sections that look closer to the F91 variant, this may explain why there is a need to make some changes to the MGF90 frame to convert it into the F90II variant. Which is why we are seeing notable changes made to the head, chest and shoulder armor part. Most of the other sections of the MG 90II still used many of the same parts from the earlier MG F90 remains the same, although it does get a color swap here.
Quite honestly we are getting quite interested in this MG F90II variant.
But the F90II isn’t the only thing that is impressive here, because the I type equipment pack that is bundled together here with this kit as well looked really badass. Why? Well, that is mostly due to the fact that you are getting alot of awesome things included here, like for an instance a shield that works as an MS carrier/flight system, which is as well paired with a beam Javelin weapon. This is not to mention that P-Bandai really manages to create something that looks insanely bonkers here, well it is the kind of bonkers that we quite a fan of actually.
What makes this announcement to be even more impressive is when we here learned that since the MG F90II uses the same arm and leg unit design of the MG F90 that as well means that the MG F90II retains many of the same hardpoints as what you would get with the MG F90. What this means is that you can mount all of the existing weapons systems that was meant for the MG F90. When I mean all, what I mean is the ones that have been announced or released by P-Bandai. This as well means that, yes you can mount the I type equipment on the previously released MG F90.
The more time we spend looking at this the more we are starting to feel like this might be one of the best set that was announced by P-Bandai so far.
Although after we took some time to look at this new MG F90 set, we are really starting to reconsider our stance of waiting for the whole line up to be completed before getting them stance. Because we are starting to have a strong feeling that P-Bandai wouldn’t be doing something like a ‘complete MG F90 set’ if they are adding new F90 variants in like this in because it might be too expensive for anyone to get at the end of it.
Then again this is P-Bandai so they might still, release the ultimate edition version of the MG F90 A to Z project? Because like we here have witnessed first hand, the lure of money can be a powerful tool into making that crazy idea happen and we know P-Bandai can be a bit insane sometimes.
