Even the threat of Coronavirus cannot stop the P-Bandai tide

Hello! We are back!

In today’s 192nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at some of the new release announcements that was made by P-Bandai recently. There is alot of really badass kits that was announced this time around, but there is one announcement that was made there, which we here do find to the most interesting out of all.

and it’s a kit that had its debut in the Crossbone Gundam Steel 7 manga.

Oh, since P-Bandai does have alot of kits slotted for release this time ’round, we decided to split the segment into 2, one we would be releasing it today and another is in this coming Saturday segment.

So without further ado let us get into it, shall we?

A weird but, interesting looking MS this.

When we said before this that we wanted to see more Crossbone related releases made, we were kind of expecting Ban…P-Bandai to first start testing the waters by first releasing the ‘Grunt’ units from the Crossbone series. However, we here didn’t expect them to actually release this, the ‘left hand’ Dictus, a.k.a the weirdest MS design out of all the other weird MS designs that we see in this particular manga.

When we saw this we actually get why this gets a P-Bandai release and at the same time, we actually like the fact that they decided to go with this instead of the others. Because we figured, if they have the balls to release something this…bonkers, we are quite excited to see what other bonkers kits that they would be releasing in the near future.

A great many poses that you can pull off with the HGUC Dictus

But enough of that, so what do we think of this release?

Well quite frankly, this is one of the most interesting releases that P-Bandai has ever put on listing. It looked nothing like what we are accustomed to which is something that we here feel is quite refreshing to see coming for the HGUC line up.

Although we do feel like due to its very ‘unique’ looks, we do feel like this might not win alot of hearts amongst the newbies, or those unfamiliar with the manga. This is why this might be one release that we don’t mind it getting that P-Bandai release because we know on the looks department alone, this kit will struggle to move, so it kind of makes sense that this kit gets that P-Bandai treatment.

It is not every day that you get to see an MS turn into one huge flying freakking hand.

Because at the very least the P-Bandai tag will turn this into a more exclusive release, which would, in turn, make the HGUC Dictus a release that is going to be really attractive to the collectors and fans of the series. Plus if it does well enough, it may persuade Bandai to try to pursue the whole Crossbone MS library for both the retail and P-Bandai side as well.

That is a future that we here are really looking forward to seeing.

This is the kind of GM that I wouldn’t mind piloting to my untimely explosive death

With the release of the HG Origins Gramps recently, we thought that they would finally stop releasing new kits under this lineup.

But oh Boy, how we were wrong.

Because P-Bandai just made an announcement for another new HG Origins MSD kit. We here really thought that after the release of the HG Origins MSD GM Interceptor w/ Fellow Booster variant by P-Bandai recently, we thought that there is no way that they would release another GM kit that would look as good as that.

But dang, they managed to even break our expectations on that as well because we all here have found ourselves fallen head over heels in love with this particular HG Origins MSD kit. We here love the fact that in terms of design it fully embraces the same look, feel, and soul of the MUCH older design from the ’80s, while at the same time giving it a bit of an update, to make it look kind of ‘modern-ish’.

For the price that you are paying, I do admit that you do get alot of gunpla here.

Although, after spending a bit of time staring at this, we do wonder if they have exhausted their EFSF MSV library and it does make me wonder if eventually, we would see Sunrise finally making that leap into making the Amuro side of the MSG Origins story?

Regardless of whatever they are planning in the future for both the HG Origins line up and the anime, we are looking forward to seeing more kits releasing under this lineup and hopefully, the fun didn’t just end with this.

We all look forward to the future of seeing more bonkers GM designs coming from the HG Origins MSD lineup!

With that concludes today’s 192nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of all of these P-Bandai Gunpla release announcements? Are you looking forward to all of these P-Bandai Gunpla releases? These are some very interesting kit releases that we are seeing here, and to be honest? We do like the direction that they are going with these new releases that they have lined up for release here. It makes us wonder what bonkers HG/RG/MG/PG kit that they have lined up for release in the coming months? Hopefully, we would finally see more Crossbone Vanguard Gunpla kits!

However, the end of this segment doesn’t mark the end of us talking about this week’s P-Bandai segment, because we still have alot more to talk about! So do look forward to that as we continue this again on this Saturday’s segment.
