I kind of wish I had more time to spare
I have been finding myself drowning in so much work recently that I found myself not having enough time to work on both the blog and the NG Vayeate. It was so bad to a point that it hampers my plans to release another Unboxing post for today’s segment because I was unable to finish up with the write up for that particular post.
So instead of forcing myself to complete that particular post by today, I decided to instead release another ‘Work in Progress’ post on the NG Vayeate.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
This was a bit from the NG Vayeate that I had alot of fun working on. Yes admittedly it is a pretty straight forward and simple section to work on, but yet I still managed to find myself having alot of fun with this particular bit. Not to mention, the stickers as well was a blast to work on.
However the same cannot be said for the chest unit, yes the stickers was still quite easy to apply here, but somehow I find that it doesn’t look as good as how it looked on the NG Vayeate’s Beam Cannon. Maybe it was because I’m using a HUGE chunk of it here, but I know that I should’ve just stuck with painting it instead. Because from what I could see on the bits that I did decide to paint on, those sections looked really good. Plus I as well find that it was quite easy to apply them paints on the surface of the NG Vayeate. Something that I would find to be a good selling point for those new to painting gunpla that is looking to learn the basics.
Ultimately I do feel quite bad that I didn’t spend enough time with the kit. Because whatever time I did manage to spend on it, I do finding myself having a lot of fun working on the NG Vayeate.
But admittedly, as I get closer and closer towards the end of the build, I am starting to be quite sad, because that would mean my time with the NG Vayeate would as well end.
To be frank with you guys, that is the only thing that I’m not looking forward to experience towards the end of this particular build.
With that ends this week’s second Work in Progress post for the NG 1/144 OZ-13MSX1 Vayeate (WF-07 Gundam-W Figure Version)(No-Grade). What do you think of my thoughts on the kit and how this NG kit thus far? To those that had built the NG Vayeate before, did you experience the same thing? Or did you guys find out things that I didn’t after going through two of my WIP my post so far? It would be really interesting to hear your thoughts on this because I do find the old NG Vayeate to still be quite a fun NG kit to build.
