Oh, finally something other than another MG Astray Variant
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 204th edition of our let’s talk Gunpla segment, we will once again be taking the time to talk about one P-Bandai release announcement. What made today’s announcement kit to be a bit interesting for us is that it seems like P-Bandai finally decided to release a fan favorite MS design from the SEED Astray series as an MG release.
One that we feel after seeing it, is a long time coming for the MG SEED Astray line up.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The MG kit that almost everyone has been waiting along time to see released.
It took us quite a while to figure out that this kit doesn’t look like anything that we’ve seen from any of the other MG SEED or SEED Astray releases to date. Yes, it might have some elements of other MG SEED and MG SEED Astray elements here and there, but those said parts were so heavily modified up to the point we might as well say that they made an entirely new part.
Even in terms of design, it doesn’t seem like it was taking cues from any of the other previous releases that we’ve seen. Yes, we are talking about both the Robot Spirits version and the ‘3rd party’ Dragon Momoko of the Testament Gundam.

It was a design and look which is unlike we’ve seen, but yet P-Bandai still manages to make the look fit in well with all the other MG SEED and MG SEED Astray releases to date. Which we do admit is something that we are quite glad to see P-Bandai do.
So what do we think of the kit after taking a closer look at it?
Well, to be honest? It does look quite promising here from what we can see here, especially when we take a closer look at the MG Testament’s gimmicks.
We are quite impressed by both the P-Bandai MG Testament’s “Taikeros Kai” Offensive Shield System and the Divine Striker System design and by the way P-Bandai designed both of them to work with the MG Testament.
It does look like you can do alot of different awesome poses with this kit
Not to mention, since the MG Testament as well comes with the same backpack connector just like the MG Strike Gundam we assume that the MG Testament could as well be equipped with all the other MG Striker units that was released for the MG Strike Gundam. Which as well means that the Divine Striker could be attached to the MG Strike Gundam.
So far from what we can see here, the MG Testament is looking to be quite an interesting kit and quite frankly this is a P-Bandai kit that we are looking forward to getting when it releases in the coming October.
All we hope for is that the kit is as awesome as it looks.

Overall this does look like a very promising MG kit for us and even though upon release this is going to be a very pricey kit, but we do have a very strong feeling that this is going to be a worthwhile investment in both time and money.
