X marks the spot for P-Bandai
HELLO! We are back!
In Today’s 206th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be again taking the time to talk about some of the new HGAW release announcements that was made quite recently. It has been quite a while since we saw any new announcements made for this series and we admit that it was quite nice to finally see some of these MS designs finally seeing the light of day as a Gunpla release
However, these kits that we are going to talk about ain’t be getting a retail release, but instead a P-Bandai one. Which is the only thing about these announcements that we are quite…well you’ll know more as you read on.
So, without further ado, let us now get into it, shall we?

This is a really good looking color scheme tbh
I can imagine the feelings of most fans of the After War Gundam X series are feeling after seeing this particular MS Design made as a P-Bandai HGAW kit. We are sure that most of you might feel both happy and dejected, to see this.
But seeing how most of the HGAW kits were performing in the Market, I can understand why Bandai decided to release this kit under the P-Bandai banner.
Because eventhough the After War Gundam X was a series that was revered by a lot of Gundam fans, however the same cannot be said for the kits.
Because quite honestly, we can say that it hasn’t been performing as well as one could’ve hoped.
The reason why we came to that conclusion is that we could easily find some of the Gundam X kits in the some of the Gunpla retail shops that we frequent to, I still could as easily find the HGAW Airmaster, X gundam, and the double X Gundam stocks. Worse still we as well remembered seeing one of the retailers selling off a lot of their HGAW Gundam X and the HGAW Double X stocks for cheap because most of them weren’t moving off the store shelves at all.
This was one of those HG kits that I was a bit sad to see it getting the P-Bandai treatment but I can understand why they decided to do so
Yes, it is quite frustrating to see this getting the P-Bandai treatment, but I could understand why they decided to do so.
So, with that out of the way, so what do we think of the release in general?
We think it looks great overall. Yes, even though we do admit that it still retains many of the same features of the retail version. But it as well gets alot of new additions and changes made to it.
For instance, the HGAW Airmaster Burst gets a new color scheme, new mounted weapons on the Airmaster Burst’s Flight unit, and as well a new weapons gimmick on the HGAW Airmaster Burst’s flight unit!
Tbh, we are quite interested with the kit after seeing this, the fact that you can actually properly move the wing unit to make way for more blaster does seem to be quite an interesting feature
This is a release that we are quite excited to get when it hits our shores this coming October. Although yes it is quite a shame that we are seeing this getting the P-Bandai treatment, but we are still glad to see the Airmaster Burst finally getting the HG treatment that it deserves.
Now all that is left for them to do is finally giving us the Gundam Leopard the HGAW treatment that it deserves.

HG 1/144 DT-6800A Daughtress (HGAW)

3 x 3 Eyes
This was the other HGAW kit that was slotted for P-Bandai release, however, it was a release that we kind of already expected to see it being announced after we saw the Eldora Daughtress (which was ironically is a P-Bandai release as well). The only thing that we didn’t expect is to see it getting the P-Bandai release.
We thought that we would be seeing this getting the retail treatment. But then again we don’t work in P-Bandai so what do we know what the heck they are thinking.
Anyways, after taking sometime staring at the kit, we do admit that we are starting to like what we are seeing here. It looked really good and we can’t help to think of the Jegan every time we look at the primary blue-ish green color scheme of the Daughtress.
This might be one of the most expensive HG grunt set if one wants to re-create this scene
Not to mention we are as well a HUGE fan of the 90mm Machine Gun that was made for the HGAW Daughtress looked here.
There is alot to love here when we take a closer look at it, it just really sad to think that this is going to get that limited release from P-Bandai.
At this rate, we wouldn’t be all that surprised to see the Janice as well gets that P-Bandai treatment.
Which we are hoping that we would still be seeing it gets a regular release if possible.
Hopefully, its opposite isn’t a P-Bandai exclusive
With that concludes today’s 206th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of these P-Bandai HGAW release announcements? Are you looking forward to these P-Bandai HGAW releases? We are seeing a very interesting bunch of P-Bandai HGAW releases here, it’s just that we here are quite frustrated to see all the HGAW kits that was listed here aren’t getting that proper Retail release, but at the same time…we can as well understand why it wasn’t.
But alas, I still hope to see the Gundam Leopard eventually getting that normal retail release.
Anyways, we will be back again with some more new gunpla related posts on this coming Saturday! So do look forward to that!
