An Eid Al-Adha post
Even despite having a hectic week due to both work and the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, I still somehow managed to squeeze some time to work on the MG GN-X. Yes, I would admit that the building progress has been quite slow, but I still feel like it is going at a good pace for me.
However, my building progress timeline isn’t the only positives that I’m getting here.
So if you are interested to learn more, well let us get into it, shall we?
This might be one of the very few times that I have worked on a kit that I find the sticker bit for the head unit worked so well. I could just paint the whole section up, however, to be quite frank, I was quite curious by how the sticker part made for the MG GN-X’s head worked, that is why I decided on using the stickers instead of taking the time to paint them. I as well had a lot of fun panel lining and assembling the MG GN-X’s Head unit. I do find that the whole thing is alot different than to what I’m accustomed to, which may explain why I had such a good time with it.
The MG GN-X’s arm units were another one that I find to be quite a surprise to work on. Just like everything else, even though this particular section doesn’t have insanely detailed inner frame parts, but somehow, Bandai managed to make even this section a fun section to work on. What’s even more surprising is that they as well gave this kit the MG Manipulator Ver.2.0 treatment.
Yes, instead of giving it the fixed manipulator system that is slowly getting adapted into the MG line up in the same year of this kit’s release, this MG kit instead gets the awesome MG Manipulator Ver.2.0 system. I honestly didn’t expect to see it making its way to this. Because from what I observed from the MG GN-X’s box packaging, it doesn’t seem like the MG GN-X is getting the MG Manipulator Ver.2.0 system.
So yes, I was quite happy to see the MG Manipulator Ver.2.0 being used here on this MG kit.
Overall, my whole experience building the MG GN-X has been quite different from what I’m accustomed to so far, I’m still struggling to put down my honest feelings and my thoughts on it, but so far my time with the MG GN-X has been quite positive.
Seeing that I’m having quite a blast with it, I can’t imagine the kit stumbling down during these last few processes.
Now with that said, it is time for me to go back to building the MG GN-X.
Oh before I forget, may all of my Muslim readers and friends, have an awesome Eid Al-Adha celebrations. Please do remember to take good care of yourselves and your families during these trying times. But at the same time, don’t forget to have fun too.
