Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.219

The ultimate Dakka Gundam

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 219th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla post, we will be taking the time to talk about something that is not entirely Gunpla related, but still quite relevant. Oh, and this particular release announcement that we are going to discuss is a release announcement from the P-Bandai side.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Mobile Suit Gundam G-Frame HFA-78-3 Heavy Full Armor 7th Gundam

Release Date: November 2020
Estimated price: JPY 7,920 (MYR RM 310.72* / USD $ 74.18* / EUR € 62.86*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

It has been quite a while since we sat down and talked about a G-Frame release from the P-Bandai side. We were worried that from the lack of updates that both the P-Bandai and the retail side might not be as interested in continuing to release the G-Frame kits.

However, after seeing this particular announcement, we now understand why it took them so long to announce a new kit.

Because what they have in store for us is quite epic and not to mention, it was quite educational as well. Why was it educational for us? Well, that is because up until today, we never knew that the already badass 7th Gundam has an even more badass version. The Heavy Armor 7th Gundam.

From the looks of it, it does look like P-Bandai managed to re-create Heavy Armor 7th Gundam in the G-Frame form, which, when we saw it, we were quite impressed.

Because if you are familiar with the M-MSV’s Kunio Okawara’s design and the Playstation 3 game, the Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C.0081 game, you will see that P-Bandai managed to nail the design of the Heavy Armor 7th Gundam here.

Admittedly, we were quite concerned with the weight and balance issues for this G-Frame Heavy Armor 7th Gundam kit. Because from the looks of it, we here can imagine this to be one insanely hard model to pose, especially with all that huge and as well heavy equipment installed on it.

Thankfully, P-Bandai did include in a stand for it, which does make posing the kit to be alot easier.

Its amazing to finally see the Heavy Armor 7th Gundam getting a proper treatment like this, and what’s more, we do wonder if there are any plans to release a Gunpla version of this badass MS.

Regardless, this is one P-Bandai G-Frame release that we here are looking forward to seeing more of, and we do hope that that this is an awesome one.

Even despite its insane asking price, it is one that we here feel is worth spending all of our money, getting.

Anyways, with that concludes today’s our 219th Let’s Talk Gunpla post. To be honest, we are quite glad to see P-Bandai announcing something that looks like this badass for the G-Frame lineup. We are looking forward to seeing them keep on releasing badass kits like this, and hopefully, this does well enough so that they might consider releasing a Gunpla Version of this badass MS design.

Regardless, what do you guys think of this P-Bandai Gunpla release announcement after reading our thoughts on this and as well after seeing more of all of it?
