Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.220

We do wonder if this is sword proof.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 220th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla post, we will be taking the time to talk about one not so new P-Bandai announcement. The reason why we decided to bring this one up out of all times is that this is something that we here would want to have displayed proudly at our Homebase.

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Full Scale Works Mobile Suit Gundam Earth Federation Forces Normal Suit Helmet

The Full Scale Works MSG EFF Normal Suit Helmet is the kind of thing that we here feel like its something that many fans of the Gundam series would love to own. It might not be as iconic as the actual Gundam itself, but it is something that we feel plays a role that is as important as the MS itself, the one other thing that sees the progress and growth of Amuro Ray as a character, his MS Pilot helmet.

Yes, we were one of those people that do have wet dreams about owning this, and seeing Megahouse recreated it in 1/1 scale does make us quite excited about getting it.

Yes, even despite us knowing that this will cost us an arm and a leg.

Because honestly, look at it? Would you not want to have this?

Yes, its a 1/1 scaled MS Pilot Helmet, which means you can probably wear it on your head.

You might be wondering why do we sound a bit unsure here? Well, that would be because from what we can see through the promotional pictures, there is no indication that the helmet has any proper moving parts. So even though you can wear them but there is a possibility that you could get the helmet stuck on your head.

That wouldn’t be so much of an issue if you are considering wearing the helmet on your head forever, but it would be an issue if you wore it with the visor attached. Because from what we can see through the promotional materials provided here, it looks like you can only remove it by pushing it out from inside the helmet.

So yes, you will suffocate yourself to death if you have the visor on for sure. Which does make us wonder, why didn’t Megahouse take the time to design a system for the helmet to at least have a proper working visor here? It would be nice to have that at least.

Regardless, it is not like any of us mind it as much since we do think Megahouse did a pretty good job overall in recreating it in 1/1 scale. Even though we prefer the more modern look of the EFF MS Pilot helmet design, but we appreciate that Megahouse stick with the original anime design for this.

The 1/1 scale MSG EFF Normal Pilot Helmet, is without a doubt, a piece of decoration that we all here look forward to, owning, eventually.

Well, as long as they would accept our souls as a currency, that is. Because boy, we are deadass broke now.

Anyways, with that concludes today’s our 220th Let’s Talk Gunpla post. Yes, we are quite aware that this is another non-gunpla related post on our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment.

But we are happy that we finally was able to take the time to talk about this P-Bandai release. It is something that we here find to be quite a fascinating announcement from P-Bandai, and it would be a shame if we skip the discussion on this one up.
