In today’s 230th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at one very recent release announcement made by Bandai that we here find to be quite fascinating.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Wait, did we mentioned that this particular release would see both Retail and P-Bandai release? No? Well, at least now, you know.
Regardless, we were quite surprised to see this particular announcement to be made now, considering that the GMG ZEON Solder (individual version and set version) for both retail and P-Bandai would only see release in this coming December. We thought Megahouse would give it sometime before they decide to release this version.
By making the release sooner than expected, it does indicate to us that Megahouse is quite confident that this would be a hit amongst the avid Gundam fan like us that has been wanting to have proper boots on the ground human figurines like these.
Especially when you can have em pull of poses like these
Interestingly enough, we have a feeling that they might be on to something here, because from what we can see here that all of these EFSF Soldier figurines look bloody brilliant.
From its looks, articulation, and all the accessories that the GMG EFSF Soldier figurine gets, it is hard for one to see this and not be interested in getting it.
But if you’re thinking of getting this, you may want to consider getting the P-Bandai version.
Why? Well, that is because of this.
Them P-Bandai face plates
Yes, you will be getting a few more different face sets to use for your figure. What’s more, this applies to both P-Bandai release versions of these figurine releases. So if you want more face options that you get with the standard version, get the P-Bandai version. It’s going to be pricey, but we do think it’s going to be worth it, especially if you are a HUGE Aqua-sama fan.
All you need now is some blue paint and some more putty to make your own custom EFSF Aqua figure.
Regardless, we are looking forward to this, and hopefully, it would be as good as it looks!
