Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.234

PG Grandpa, in VR.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 234th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking our time to talk about one of the newest pieces of news that we heard about the upcoming PG Gramps Ver.2.0!

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The Rumor Mill: PG 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0 (PG) October VR announcement.

Announcement Date: 08/10/2020
Estimated price: Unknown
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Yes, as the name suggests, we the new piece of news that we mentioned that we would be talking about it not on the kit itself but the announcement of the reveal.

Why?

Well, because it would be the first full Virtual Presentation by Bandai, and it would be quite interesting to see how the presentation of the PG Grandpa Ver.2.0 go on this coming 8th of October.

Because even though, we have seen all the previous Bandai’s online presentations of new kit releases, but this would be the first time we would see a VR presentation. We would admit the thought of seeing the VR presentation alone is enough to excite us all here.

It would be quite interesting to see if they would allow us to get a much more in-depth first-hand look at the upcoming PG Grandpa Ver.2.0 kit.

Speaking of the PG Gramps Ver.2.0, we are quite frankly are quite excited to see which version (design-wise) of the Grampa it would lean-to. We do hope that they would go with a completely original design because if we are getting another Gramps, we do expect our gramps to at least look slightly different than our other Grandpa’s.

Regardless, we are looking forward to this coming 8th Oct’s PG Gramps Ver.2.0 announcement, and may it’ll be something that would blow our minds.

Anyways, that concludes our 234th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. We do realize that today’s Let’s Talk Gunpla segment is quite a short and sweet one. Although we do wish that they would tease us more with more illustrations of the upcoming PG Grandpa Ver.2.0 kit, we do admit that the highlight of this particular announcement is the fact that we would be getting the presentation in VR.

But it does make us wonder if this is how Bandai would announce future retail releases? Because if this is? Well, we are looking forward to seeing more of this kind of presentation for their main Gunpla releases.

Regardless, what do you guys think of this particular announcements after reading our thoughts on this? We do look forward to reading and replying to all of your thoughts on this Bandai announcement. So don’t be shy to write on your thoughts and feelings in the comment section below.

Anyways, we will be back again this coming Thursday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. So do look forward to that :D!
