The two unexpected P-Bandai announcements
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 242nnd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at some of the new P-Bandai Gunpla release announcements that managed to creep its way to our news feed.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

When you need your MS units to BASE jump themselves to their deaths
The HG Origins Light Liner was an announcement that managed to catch us all by surprise here. Because for one, with the end of the Origins anime, we thought there is no way that Bandai would continue to support this HG line up with new releases. Secondly, out of all the MSV things that we are expecting to see, this isn’t one of the things that crossed our minds when we think about MSV (or in, this case, MSD) MS Designs.
Well, technically, this is not an MS, but we’re sure you all here get what we are trying to say here, haha.
Not an MS yes but you could turn your GM’s into a kite
Regardless, we’re quite impressed by what we see here. Because well, it looks quite good for something that is made specifically as an addition to your existing HG Origins kits. Admittedly we do find it to be quite surprising, considering what it is, an Arial Sub-Flight unit backpack expansion for your EFSF HG Origins kit.
We here do think that the credit must go to the P-Bandai HG Origins design team because they managed to create something simple but yet quite good looking with this.
We seriously would love to see this being made into an MG.
Plus, we admit it is nice of P-Bandai to release this as a standalone release instead of bundling it with another kit. It does show that they’re quite confident that this standalone release would be able to sell themselves without any support or whatsoever. However, we do think that it is a bit of a shame that we are getting this particular HG Origins kit as a P-Bandai release. Because looking at it, we know that it would most definitely sell well to the HG Origins fans like us.
We would love to have the P-Bandai HG GM Sniper for us to have it paired up with this
Regardless, we are looking forward to eventually get to own it when it reaches our shores next year.
MG 1/100 Hyaku Raise Cain (MG)
MG 1/100 Hyaku Raise Cain (MG)

B.A.D.A.S.S
This announcement was another one that we here REALLY didn’t expect to see.
Because after the release of the Qubeley Amberil and the lack of new MG Gundam Build Divers GWBC Gimm & Ball’s World Championship reveals in this couple of months, we thought that P-Bandai’s excitement to introduce new MG kits under this MG line up have died down.
So we do admit that it is nice to see that P-Bandai still has something up their sleeves for this particular MG line-up.
Well, in this case, their shiny pockets
But even with that said, it is not to say that this a unique MG kit. In fact, from what we can see here, it is clear to us that this is just a recolored MG Hyaku Shiki Crash kit that was released some time ago. So if you’re coming in expecting Bandai to expend the awesomeness of the Hyaku Shiki Crash with this version, well, don’t. Because unfortunately, from what we can see here, this is just more of the same here.
However, if you don’t mind building another Hyaku Shiki Crash and you do have a lot of money, AND you as well love shiny kits, well, look no further because this is the MG kit for you.
But even with that said, we would admit that the MG Hyaku Raise Cain is quite a handsome MG kit. Yes, admittedly, the main reason why it looked so good still is because it inherited the good looks from the MG Hyaku Shiki Crash. But we do think that the OG Hyaku Shiki colors do help to make it look even more of a badass here.
Extremely expensive but extremely good looking as well
Admittedly, we do like the looks of this P-Bandai MG kit. But its insane RSP and its SHINY parts, does kill our interest in getting the MG Hyaku Raise Cain kit. Because we here do think that it is a bit overkill to be getting an MG kit that we are never going to build, with that insane asking price. Especially considering we could still get the same one that has the same features and looks that doesn’t come in that shiny package. But most importantly, that is a lot cheaper than its insanely expensive and shiny counterpart.
Yes, we do think that even our kidneys are too precious for us to waste on this.
Good looking yes, but we would still stick to getting the MG Crash instead of this
Anyways, that concludes our 242nd edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Not particularly a strong line up of announcement that is coming from the P-Bandai side this week. But it is nice to see P-Bandai still churning out kits for the HG Origins and the MG GBD GWBC Gimm & Ball’s World Championship.
But we do hope for P-Bandai to look into releasing something insane that would blow our minds on the next iteration of the MG GBD GWBC Gimm & Ball’s World Championship line-up.
Anyways, we will be back again this coming Tuesday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. So do look forward to that :D!
