Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.254

The two MG P-Bandai that we are most looking forward to finally gets their official release dates!

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 254th edition of our Lets Talk Gunpla segment, we will now be taking the time to talk about some of the very recent P-Bandai official release announcements. From the looks of it, it seems like Bandai is finally releasing the official details of two of the Gunpla EXPO 2020 Tokyo P-Bandai reveals.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack I Type (Jupiter Battle Specification)(MG)

Release Date: May 2021
Estimated price: JPY 2,200 (MYR RM 85.73* / USD $ 21.12* / EUR € 17.36*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Honestly, we were quite glad to see that we do not have to wait so long to see more of this P-Bandai release announcement. The MG F90 I Type (Jupiter Battle Specifications) expansion set was one of those that we were excited to see what more there is to it. After spending time to look at all it has to offer, we do admit that we are getting more interested in getting it!

Because besides all the awesome things that you get here with this expansion set that we already saw and discussed during the Gunpla EXPO 2020 reveal, you do as well get a pretty badass looking waterslide Decal design for this set.

What’s more, you as well get to see all the things that you could do here with this expansion set, and to be honest, it does make us want to go out and immediately get an MG F90 with the MG F90II that comes with this expansion so we could create our makeshift version. Which we think is a good time to do that since P-Bandai is reopening preorders for the standard MG F90 and all of its previously released expansion parts.

However, it is the MG F90 I Type (Jupiter Battle Specification)’s Shot Lancer is the real reason why we are most looking forward to getting it.

Why?

Well, to put it simply? It is because it just looked really badass, and to see it in action makes it look even more of a Badass for us.

But that isn’t the only thing that Bandai has in mind to release.

MG 1/100 F90 Gundam F90 Unit 02 (MG)

Release Date: May 2021
Estimated price: JPY 4,400 (MYR RM 171.46* / USD $ 42.23* / EUR € 34.71*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Because this is another MG F90 kit that is coming on the same month as the P-Bandai MG F90’s I Type (Jupiter Battle Specifications).

Yes, the best looking MG F90 variant that everyone here in the blog is most looking forward to the most finally gets that official date and time of release.

Although just like the MG F90 I Type (Jupiter Battle Specifications), most of what we see here is something that we are not surprised to see since it we have seen it during the Gunpla EXPO 2020 reveal and because this is really just the same MG F90 with just a better color scheme. However, the thing that gets to us all here is just how good looking the actual MG F90 Unit 02 looked.

Yes, from the reveal alone, we all should know by now how badass this kit would look, but honestly? We honestly didn’t expect it to look THIS good. Funnily enough, the reason why we are so enamored by this kit is really due to the same reason why we were so attracted by it when we all saw it for the first time during the Gunpla EXPO 2020 event, the use of the badass purple color scheme.

It’s astonishing for us to see that a simple color swap was all you need to make a badass kit, look even more of a badass.

Regardless, these two upcoming P-Bandai releases are P-Bandai MG kits that we are looking forward to seeing more of next year! Hopefully, it would be as fun to build as it is to look at because it would be a damn shame if this good looking kit turns out to be a crapper.

Anyways, that concludes our 254th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. It is nice to return to normal after spending so long talking about all the Gunpla EXPO 2020 Tokyo kit reveals. We were quite worried that we would go back to not hearing anything from Bandai for weeks on end. So, yeah, it was nice to have things go back to normal here.

Not to mention, it was as well quite delightful to finally see some of the kits that we’ve talked about back then to finally getting that official release date. At least we can start saving up for them awesome P-Bandai MG kits. Hopefully, we don’t have to sell our organs for those.

Anyways, we will be back again this coming Saturday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. So do look forward to that :D!
