The last post of 2020

HELLO! We are back! 

In today’s 258th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking the time to take a look at one of The Gundam Base Gunpla release that we here find to be quite interesting. 

Yes, we are aware of the other releases from The Gundam Base, but today we wanted to talk about just one kit that interested us. 

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

HG 1/144 Gundam Base Limited MS-06 Zaku II (21st Century Real Type Ver.) (HGUC)

This particular announcement does come as a surprise to us all here. 

For one, we do not expect Bandai’s Gundam Base side to be the one releasing this kit. Secondly, we thought that we would see this being announced right after the retail side releases the standard green variant first before they would this. 

Regardless, we do admit that we are still glad to see this getting that Gundam Base treatment. Because that would mean that there is a high possibility that we would be able to snag this for a much lower price, just like its Grandpa Revive version. 

But that is not the only reason why we are interested in getting this. There is as well the fact that it looked pretty freaking badass.

It looked so good, in fact, that we would even go as far as to say that this might be the best ’21st Century Real Type’ variant that we’ve seen to date. Honestly, there is alot to love here, from its badass color scheme to its awesome ‘Real Type’ decals. 

We all here feel like this is really one of those kits that we would find hard to resist. Although admittedly, we can’t help to wonder if we would see the 21st Century Real Type Version makes its way as a modern MG version release any time soon. Because that is something that we all here would really love to both get and see.

Anyways, that concludes our 258th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, which as well marks the last post that we’ll be posting for the year 2020. Yes, we do still have another one more post to make this coming Thursday. But to most, by the time I will be posting that segment, you guys would have been in the new year already.  

So yeah, this would be our last post for the year 2020.

So with the year-end looming around the corner, we do want to take this time to thank all of you badass readers. Honestly, there were many times this year that we feel like the weight of the world would be crashing down on us. But going through all the comments and support that we get from you guys makes the hardship that we go through worth going through. Thanks to your continued support and readership, it really has been the thing that has kept us going through the year. Hopefully, you guys would continue to support us all the way through the next as well.

Anyways, we will be back again the next coming Thursday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. So do look forward to that!
