Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.261

YAS! FINALLY!

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 261st edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking the time to discuss one of P-Bandai’s newest MG announcement. Interestingly enough, this is one of the P-Bandai MG kits that a part of the Gunpla EXPO Tokyo 2020 reveals.

So, yeah, we are pretty excited when we finally see more of it and get to spend time to talk about it today.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

MG 1/100 ORX-013 Gundam Mk-V (MG)

Release Date: April 2021
Estimated price: JPY 8,800 (MYR RM 64.23* / USD $ 16.00* / EUR € 13.04*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Yes, after waiting for a long time, we finally get to see more details on this P-Bandai MG kit. Honestly, the MG Mk-V is really one of those P-Bandai kits that we are looking forward to learning more about this ever since its Gunpla EXPO Tokyo 2020 reveal.

Although we have seen it during the reveal, we would admit that after spending more time staring at the MG Mk-V’s promotional materials, admittedly, we do think that it does look alot more impressive now. It looked so good that we all here now are quite keen on the idea of really snatching this one up.

Honestly, why wouldn’t we be? Especially when we stare at the MG Mk-V’s beautiful color scheme and all the insane details that it comes with, it’s hard for us not to fall in love with it.

But the looks aren’t the only thing that got us all here hooked.

Because all the badass gimmicks that this kit comes with looks as impressive as the actual kit itself. Like for instance, the shoulder missile pods. When we first saw the missile pods, we thought that it’s somewhat fixed permanently at that weird angle. However, after spending time with the promotional materials, it does seem to us all here that you can still articulate it.

Even its wired INCOM funnels gimmicks looked impressive. Because from what we can see here, it is clear that the INCOM Funnels will come with two very stiff wires that would enable you to fix the INCOM Funnels to your liking.

So as you can already see, this P-Bandai MG kit is looking pretty impressive and one that is hard to ignore. Although, we do feel like this isn’t going to be one cheap P-Bandai MG kit. Yes, we are aware of its listed price, but the only way for us unfortunate sods to get one is through a 3rd party seller. That means we would definitely be getting this kit at a much higher marked up price for the MG Mk-V.

But even with us knowing that, we’re still quite keen on the idea of getting it. Because at the end of the day, it is a pretty badass MG kit, and one that we can imagine would be something that we all here would have a lot of fun building.

Anyways, that concludes our 261st edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. To finally see this getting that official release date does make all of us here quite happy indeed. Although admittedly, we are quite bothered by the lack of new announcement made from the Retail side. Which does make me wonder, what do they have under their sleeves there?

Anyways, we will be back again the next coming Saturday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog, so do look forward to that!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and or subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts. We would appreciate it if you guys would show your support by leaving an upvote on our R/Gunpla posts and by leaving a ‘like’ on our Facebook and Instagram posts or pages!

We are as well open to any good and bad feedback, so feel free to write away.

Hopefully, by sharing our love and passion for building and writing about gunplas or other plamos here, we hope that it’ll help to inspire all of here to pick up on the hobby. Or better yet, reignite your love and passion for the hobby.

Anyways, we shall see all of you again soon, and we as well hope that you all here have a splendid day and week ahead! Oh as well, please do have an excellent time building your awesome gunplas there and until next time.

Ciao!

    1. We all feel the same way as well tbh.

Its sad to know that one of the best Gundam Sentinel MS design is getting the P-Bandai release. But at the same time we kind of hope that this would pave the way for both the silver bullet and the suppressor to get that retail release.

But then again P-Bandai has been widely known to be an ass. So, yeah.

    1. Exactly, eventhough that is what the price listed but we all know when it hits where ever shops that is selling them, we know that it’ll get that infamous ‘P-Bandai’ tax
