In today’s 263rd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will continue to talk about some of the other Retail release announcements from the HUGE list that we saw last week. Interestingly enough, we would be mainly be talking Gunpla releases from the upcoming Hathaway movie.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Another big chonky boi from the Hathaway series
Aah, yes, the HGUC Ξ Gundam.
Before we saw this HGUC press release, we were looking forward to seeing any new details of its release, and we thought that we might be more excited for its release after seeing more of it.
However, after spending more time with the HGUC Ξ Gundam’s promotional materials, we admit that we felt a bit indifferent towards it.
But honestly, it wasn’t because we think that the HGUC Ξ Gundam isn’t appealing enough, no. As a matter of fact, we all feel that this kit looked pretty badass, and not, to mention, insanely detailed. What’s more, we do admit that it gave a strong HGUC Moon vibe here.
Honestly, we can’t help to feel some pretty hard HGUC Moon vibe here with this HGUC kit.
What that means is that we think this would be a good one.
So why are we finding ourselves feeling indifferent?
Well, that is because unlike the other previous Gunpla EXPO Tokyo 2020 reveals that we’ve seen, it doesn’t seem like there is anything significant and particularly new that we learn here. It looked exactly like the way we saw it last time.
So yeah, we were hoping to learn more new things from this release as we did with both the MG GINN and the HGCE Dagger L. But even with that said, we are ok with what we do learn of this HGUC release.
Yes, we might not learn anything new here, but honestly, we are ok with that.
Because we still think this is still a fascinating HGUC release that we’re looking forward to getting.
That’s up until we saw the press release of the next one.

That is some pretty dope effect parts
Because unlike the HGUC Ξ Gundam’s press release, reading through the HGUC Ξ Gundam VS Penelope Funnel Missile effect set press release gives us a very different reaction instead.
Because from what we learned, it seems like you don’t just get some badass effect parts for both the HGUC Ξ Gundam and the HGUC Penelope. Apparently, this Funnel Effect set comes with both the HGUC Ξ Gundam and the HGUC Penelope together. Yes, you heard us right, it comes with the two kits as well.
Which honestly managed to catch us all here by surprise. But then again, it may explain why the set is so bloody expensive.
It’s a very expensive HGUC set for a damn good reason.
You might be wondering why we so surprised by this? Well, that is because, during its reveal, we thought that the effect parts is all you’ll be getting here. We really didn’t expect to see this effect parts set to have the actual bloody kits themselves included in the set.
But alas, it is good news for those that haven’t gotten any of the kits like us because this would definitely be the best option to go for if you are considering getting both of them at once.
But that’s not the only reason to be getting this HGUC set, because there is as well the fact that they included the effect parts and a stand to make your life posing these two kits together a tad bit better.
The most complete version of the two HGUC kitss to date.
That is why we are most likely would be getting this version instead of just a singular kit.
All that is left to do is to save up so we could actually get them.
Anyways, that concludes our 263rd edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. There are still some Retail Gunpla kits to talk about, which we will cover in the next Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Which we are quite excited to move on to next.
Oh, and Kimi is almost managed to get the RG Force Impulse done, so we might see something coming up soon-ish. Haha.
