Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.265

It looks like a UC version of the Tallgeese.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 265th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a break from covering the retail SD releases to take a look at one of P-Bandai’s latest Gunpla announcement. Interestingly enough, it looks like P-Bandai just announced a kit for a line up that we thought is dead.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

RE100 1/100 XM-07B Vigna-Ghina II [Jupiter Battle Ver.] (REBORN100)

Release Date: April 2021
Estimated price: JPY 4,620 (MYR RM 180.38* / USD $ 44.62* / EUR € 36.83*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Honestly, we didn’t actually plan to be talking or even working on the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment talking about a P-Bandai announcement before this. However, we knew that we would drop everything that we are working on and spend time going through the press release on this P-Bandai RE100 kit as soon as we saw this.

Because man, this is one of the dopest things that we’ve seen made into Gunpla.

From what we can see here, it looks like we finally get the insane Crossbone Gundam Steel 7 version of the RE100 Vigna-Ghina II.

So, you might be wondering, what makes this version such a big deal? Didn’t we already get the Re100 Vigna-Ghina II as a retail release?

Well, for one, you get the badass nuclear missile attached shot lancer from the MG F90 Mission Pack I Type Jupiter Battle Specification included in this. Which we all here think looked freaking badass.

The other bit that makes it different when we compared it to the Retail variant is its Tallgeese inspired snake hand weapon system.

Yes, the best bit of this version is translated very well here in Gunpla form. From what we can see here, it does look like you can articulate it in any way you wanted it in, and what’s more, it does make the already very intimidating Vigna-Ghina II into something even more of a badass here.

We would admit that after spending alot of time going through the RE100 Vigna-Ghina II Jupiter Battle Specification variant, we do like what we see here. However, the only thing that is holding us back from getting this is that this badass P-Bandai Gunpla kit is because it is a RE100 kit.

Why is this a problem? Well, because so far, the feedback that we’ve gotten from most builders that has experience with the RE100 kits that we talked to has given us the impression that the RE100 building experience is a bit of a mixed bag. So, it does make us wonder if we should at least give one RE100 kit a try.

Hopefully, the overall experience would be good enough to make us want to make that leap into getting this version of the RE100 Vigna-Ghina II.

Anyways, that concludes our 265th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. It’s nice to see P-Bandai taking on the mantel of releasing more obscure F91/Crossbone in Gunpla form.

Hopefully, this would do well enough that we’ll someday see Bandai release some more of the Crossbone Vanguards badass grunt units in Gunpla form. It would be nice if the Den’an Zon finally get that MG release. We would love to have the Den’an Zon as an MG kit, please.

That would be an MG release that we here would really LOVE to get.

Anyways, we will be back again the next coming Saturday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog, so yes, please do look forward to that!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and or subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts. We would appreciate it if you guys would show your support by leaving an upvote on our R/Gunpla posts and by leaving a ‘like’ on our Facebook and Instagram posts or pages!

Hopefully, by sharing our love and passion for building and writing about gunplas or other plamos here, we hope that it’ll help to inspire all of here to pick up on the hobby. Or better yet, reignite your love and passion for the hobby.

Anyways, we shall see all of you again soon, and we as well hope that you all here have a splendid day and week ahead! Oh as well, please do have an excellent time building your awesome gunplas there and until next time.

Ciao!
