Spending our Eid by talking about Gundam-related release
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 8th edition of our Let’s Talk Gundam Merch, we will continue where we left off from last week’s Let’s Talk Gunpla segment to talk about another kit release. Yes, we will be talking about another Plamo release here. But as the title of this blog post suggests, we decided to talk about it as a Gundam Merch release instead of a Gunpla one.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The best girl from the Gundam Build series now comes in blue
Yes, since this is a Figure-rise standard kit, we were a bit torn to include it together with last week’s Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, even though The Gundam Base Limited marketing team marketed this as a gunpla release. But obviously, we knew that this isn’t a Gunpla kit.
But even with that said, it is not to say that we are not a fan of this Figure-rise Standard Fumina kit because we are.
Honestly its hard not to be excited for this one
Seriously, even despite the fact that we’re HUGE fans of Fumina, we are genuinely quite impressed with The Gundam Base Limited version of this Figure-rise Standard kit. Because even though it is basically just the same kit as the retail variant, somehow they managed to make it look even better than its retail variant.
How is that even possible, you may ask?
Well, by changing its color scheme. That’s all.
Never we’d all imagine Fumina would look so good in blue
It boggles the mind to think that all they really needed to do here is swap the standard colors to The Gundam Base’s dark blue color scheme. Also, we do like that they pair the light blue tone well with The Gundam Base’s dark blue color scheme. Oh, not to mention, we love how The Gundam Base small sticker decal looked on this kit as well.
Admittedly, we think that The Gundam Base Limited did a pretty great job here with this, and yes, we here are all pretty interested in the idea of getting here at the Homebase.
Hopefully, we would be lucky enough to find a retailer that would carry one here.
We’re really looking forward to possibly getting this one this year
With that concludes our 7th edition of the Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment. It’s honestly really nice to be able to spend Eid just talking about Gunplas. Yes, it is sad that the Pandemic is preventing all of us from celebrating it with our families. But at the very least we could do the next best thing and spend time talking about Gunplas with friends.
Also, we wanted to take the time to wish our fellow Muslim readers to have a splendid Eid Mubarak celebration this year. Yes, it may be another challenging year for all of us. But we all here hope that this year would be the last time we’ll be celebrating Eid in these circumstances.
So let us keep on doing our best, and may all of you keep on being safe and healthy always.
Oh yes, we are aware that the retail side just made another batch of new Gunpla announcements. That is why we will be back again this Saturday to talk about them! So yes, please do look forward to that!
