Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.298

Why do you do this to us again, P-Bandai?

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 298th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking the time to discuss on P-Bandai’s latest Gunpla plan reveal. A reveal that so many of us in the Gunpla community was a bit pissed off by here.

A piece of news that we here really didn’t expect to see one of them released as a P-Bandai release.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Back when we all here said that we wanted to see more Hathaway anime getting more Gunpla kits released alongside the release of the anime movie, we hoped to see the retail side announcing them. Not P FREAKKING BANDAI.

To be bloody honest? We can understand why they decided to make the commander version of the Messer F-02 to a P-Bandai exclusive kit, but not the standard version of the F-02. Yes, we are aware that the Standard F-02 is just the version of the HGUC Messer with the Dom-like legs. So yes, we know that it’s not going to be any different from the retail version.

But is it too much to ask for us to have the ability to have the HGUC Messer F-02 released as a retail kit?

But even with that said, it is pretty early for us to determine that this would be just another HGUC Messer with dom legs. Because the asking price is significantly higher when compared to the standard retail kit. So we are still hoping that P-Bandai would add some more stuff to make these P-Bandai exclusive kits worth getting, and yes, that includes the Standard variant of the Messer F-02.

Anyways, we shall wait and see what P-Bandai has in store for us in these coming days. But whatever the outcome is, we know we’re not going to be happy to see the standard HGUC Messer F-02 released as a P-Bandai exclusive.

With that concludes our 298th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Honestly, we were surprised to see P-Bandai’s announcement on this. It has been quite a while since we saw a P-Bandai teaser that manages to make all of us here pretty disappointed by them.

We hope that they have a lot more to offer us to make these two P-Bandai exclusive kits (especially the standard Messer F-02 version) worth getting.

But honestly, though? We still think that they should’ve just let the standard Messer F-02 be a retail kit.

Anyways, we will be back again this coming Thursday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch-related posts for this blog, so yes, please do look forward to that!
