In today’s 9th edition of our Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment, we will be taking the time to talk about one of P-Bandai’s latest Metal Robot Spirits announcements. It seems that P-Bandai as well had a new SEED-related release announced on their side. But unlike the Retail side, theirs is a Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> release. 

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we? 

Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam

2021 what a time to be a SEED fan! You get a new Anime movie announced, a new SEED MSV project and an entirely new Gunpla kit, and possibly new HGSEED kits coming too! 

Now it seems that we also will be getting a new SEED-related Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> mecha figure! But this time, you’ll not be getting another Freedom-variant. Instead, you’ll be getting the Eternal 2nd MS, the Justice. 

And boy, oh boy, what a good-looking mecha figure this is. 

Yes, admittedly, in terms of looks, it might look a bit plain when compared to its MG counterpart. But if we were, to be honest here? We like boring MS designs like this.

Because even though we are fans of the more Edgy look that the Ver.RM MG kits are going for nowadays. But there are times that we do appreciate Mecha Figure designs that are modest, like this Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Justice Gundam. 

Well, if we were, to be frank, the reason why it looked so modest, it, because it is just reusing the previous Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Justice Gundam design. 

Yes, instead of going with a completely new design, this Metal Robot Spirit <SIDE MS> Justice Gundam opted to reuse the older Robot Spirit design for this. Honestly, we here do not think it’s a bad thing, considering that the standard version is pretty hard to come by nowadays, and not to mention the ones listed online are pretty darn expensive. 

Plus, since this is a metal-based Mecha Figure, you’d know that it would last longer on display better than its regular Robot Spirit counterpart. Not to mention since it still has the same posing capabilities as its standard retail Robot Spirits counterpart, REALLY makes this P-Bandai Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> release all the more impressive for us all here. 

Not to mention the decals used on this version of the Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Justice Gundam looks really badass.

Plus, plus, it’s not like the old same-ish design is in any way terrible. Instead, we do think it is still is a damn good-looking Robot Sprits design. Like we stated earlier, we do like a mecha figure that doesn’t go overboard with its Mecha designs. So yeah, you can say we are a fan of this Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> mecha figure.

But even with that said, too bad that we all here know that this is something that we know we all can’t afford to own due to both the insane asking price for it and its availability. So with a heavy heart, this Metal Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Justice Gundam is DEFINATELY one of those Mecha figures that go into that list of things that we like but can never own list. 

And that makes us really sad.

With that concludes our 8th edition of the Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment. Honestly, we are glad to see more SEED-related stuff getting released, and hopefully, we would be able to get more new things instead of getting the same old, same old stuff.  

Hopefully, we get to see more SEED grunt MS’s getting the Gunpla treatment.
