The Akai Shuichi Zaku II
Are you a fan of the Conan the Detective manga? Do you as well a fan of Char’s custom Zaku?
Well, why The Gundam Base Limited finally made a kit tailor-made for you!
But!
Unfortunately, this might be one of the not-so-good-looking releases that we’ve seen, even though they created it by basing it on a pretty handsome HGUC kit.
The funny thing is that they didn’t do anything at all to change its base appearance tho. All they really did here was change its color scheme and give it some decals. Although we admit that the color scheme that they gave this kit does look quite good on this version of the HGUC Char Zaku II, but honestly? That isn’t the thing that we are turned off by here.
It is the custom decals that they gave this kit is the one that made this kit look ugly as sin.
Seriously it had a decent color scheme bit the one that is a bit of a let down it the decals
Honestly, we know they wanted this HGUC Char’s Zaku II to look as close to the character that the designers wanted this kit to look like, but can they design the decals to look at least decent?
But at the very least, the Conan figure that they included here does look quite badass with the Char Color scheme. Plus, we think that it is pretty awesome that they decided to release this set now. So, if you are a fan of the series and just starting to dabble with Gundam in general, well, you can consider getting this kit. That is as long as you don’t use the decals on the said kit.
That is one dope colors on a figure man
Not to mention the boxart that this kit is released in does as well look quite dope!
With that concludes our 305th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Honestly, what a fascinating collaboration kit this is.
Never in a million years, we’d see Bandai release a collab like this. But then again, the same could be said when they did the Hello Kitty one.
Yes, we still have to postpone talking about the HUGE Gundam Breaker Battlelouge release announcements to talk about here. In which we’re still looking forward to spending time talking about them this coming Thursday (hopefully) post. So, please do look forward to that!
