After a Red one, we finally get a green one.
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 310th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking at one of Retail’s newest Gunpla announcement. Apparently, this one retail Gunpla kit they announced alongside all the other HGGBB kits that we recently covered. We admit that we do find it quite strange that we really didn’t hear much about it at first. But that all changed as soon as we all saw it.
Then we realized why we didn’t hear much about it. That is because this is just another variant of an existing Retail kit.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The modern rendition of a timeless classics back
Yes, after the release of the revive Char’s Zaku, it’s clear to all of us here that eventually, we would see this make it as a Gunpla release. But seeing how P-Bandai has been snatching some Gunpla releases up as a P-Bandai Exclusive, understandably, we are worried that there would still be a possibility that we might get this as a P-Bandai release.
However, it seems like that is not the case anymore, since now Bandai has made it official that we will be getting the green HGUC Zaku II as a retail release.
Thank the plastic gods for that.
Also, it is clear to us all here that this version of the Zaku has all the features that are the same as its HGUC Revive Char Zaku II counterpart. From all its gimmicks and down to its looks. Honestly, we didn’t really expect anything much from this version since it is kind of obvious that this would be a recolored version of the HGUC Revive Char Zaku II. But even with that said, we wished that they put a bit more detail on the leg unit to differentiate it from the F & J version.
Kind of wished that they would put more effort into the detailing bit to differentiate it between the Space-based type and the land-based type.
But then again, we don’t get the same treatment on the Chars Zaku II, so we can’t expect anything much with this version if we were, to be honest.
Although, we admit that now we finally understand why this release went under the radar. That is because of the fact that it is just a recolored version of the same thing.
Although we’ve seen this same gimmick with the HGUC Char’s Zaku II, funnily enough, we are still quite impressed by this gimmick
But regardless, we are looking forward to this release. We have a strong feeling that this would be a good one.
With that concludes our 310th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. We are glad that we managed to cover this retail release. Now with all the Gunpla release announcements covered, we can finally take it easy a bit and go back to our usual posting schedule. Haha.
Well, what that means is that we will be back next Thursday with a new blog post, of course. So, please do look forward to that!
