SuperGundam Samurai
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 328th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at P-Bandai’s newest Gunpla release announcement! It looks like P-Bandai is bringing back a kit line-up that we never in our wildest dreams thought of seeing again.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Familiar but at the same time, more badass
We thought that after the release of the MG Musha Gundam Mk. II that would be the end of this strange MG Samurai Gundam line-up. But apparently, Bandai still seems to have more of these weird ‘Samurai” Gundam variants in mind set for release.
However, if you’re coming in expecting P-Bandai to give you something completely new here. Well, we hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but from what we can see here, this kit looks like just a recolored version of the original Shin Musha Gundam. Despite the fact that it got a new name, it is clear from the promotional materials that they really didn’t give it anything new besides the new color scheme.
But even with that said, admittedly, the new color scheme that they gave it? Looks absolutely fantastic!
This version of the Shin Musha Gundam looks like something that the Yakuza would have. A tattooed Samurai Gundam.
We are absolutely in love with the main grey and the dark grey color combo. Plus, we like that they replaced the gold bits with shiny red bits instead in this version. All in all, we honestly think they did a fantastic job with the badass color scheme on this version of the Shin Musha Gundam.
It looked so good that it made most of us here, which earlier coming in had no interest in the Shin Musha Gundam, instantly became huge fans of this version of the Shin Musha Gundam.
And as strange as it may sound, it also piqued our interest in getting the original iteration, so we can at least know what we’re going to be getting ourselves into when we have this version of the Shin Musha Gundam in our hands.
It would be interesting to have this paired together with both the standard retail version and this in one room.
With that concludes our 328th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. We were kind of worried that seeing how the Rona have been ravaging Japan, that it would take us a very long time to hear any new Gunpla release announcement.
So, seeing this new P-Bandai kit announcement does help to calm our worried minds up. It shows that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully, we come to that point where we see this pandemic ends.
Also, hopefully, all our lives would as well will be back to normal.
Oh btw before we end, a word from Kimi.
Hi guys, Kimi here.
I’m sure you guys wondered why there were no new blog posts posted on the blog last week. Well, the reason for that is because my Father has recently passed away the last Thursday. So as you can imagine, things were a bit hectic last week. Because of that, I had to take some time away from the blog.
Not to mention, it has been quite an emotional rollercoaster ride for me as well. It’s hard to work on things when I lose someone important in my life. But alas, life has to go on. I know my dad wouldn’t want me to continue moping like this.
So I want to take the time to apologize for suddenly went MIA, and I hope you guys understand why I had to shift my focus and priorities for the day.
Hopefully, this is the last time that I have to do this.
Anyways, we will be back again this coming Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts. We would appreciate it if you guys would take the time to show your support by leaving an upvote on our R/Gunpla posts and by leaving a like on our Facebook and Instagram posts or pages!
We are as well open to any good and bad feedback, so feel free to write away.
Hopefully, by sharing our love and passion for building and writing about gunplas or other plamos here, we hope that it’ll help to inspire all of here to pick up on the hobby. Or better yet, reignite your love and passion for the hobby.
Anyways, we shall see all of you again soon, and we as well hope that you all here have a splendid day and week ahead! Oh as well, do have an excellent time building your awesome gunplas there and until next time.
