HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 10th edition of our almost being forgotten Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment, we will be looking at P-Bandai’s latest release Robot Spirits <SIDE MS>’s premium offering. It seems like they had another version of the Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Gundam Ground Type version that they had in mind.
Not to mention a new Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment, yay!
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

Back when the retail side announced the Regular version of the Robot Spirits Gundam Ground Type Ver.A.N.I.M.E, we all thought that the Regular version was already one badass Robot Spirits Mecha Figure. Now it seems like the P-Bandai side has another version of the exact same badass Robot Spirits <SIDE MS> Mecha Figure that they have in mind to release.
Which version do they have in mind to release? Well, that would be the Desert Type version.
So, what is the difference between this P-Bandai version and the Regular version that is coming this coming December?
Yeah, what is the difference here?
Well, after spending time looking at it, we can say it does have alot of fascinating cosmetic upgrades. But the thing is, most of the changes made to it here are a bit subtle. For instance, on the leg unit, there are two changes made here, one change made close to the feet unit, and another is on the feet unit itself.
Another notable change is on the chest unit, where they replace the large and quite obvious vent with a smaller one.
We are actually a fan of this vent look compared to the big one of the original.
But despite all the subtle cosmetic changes, there is one cosmetic change that one would notice when comparing this to the upcoming Retail version. That would be the browner color scheme on the P-Bandai version.
Oh, not to forget they also made it possible for us to mount the Shied unit at the back of this P-Bandai version of the Robot Spirits Gundam Ground Type. What’s more, they as well included the Net Gun in for this version.
However, they did omit a few things out here, like the backpack storage unit and the badass 180mm Cannon.

But even with that said, from what we can see here, it is clear that this is more and less the same Robot Spirit <SIDE MS> Gundam Ground Type. Yes, admittedly, we can’t say that for sure since we do not have the actual retail version yet to confirm the similarities between these two Mecha figures have. But honestly? It’s not that hard to imagine that it’ll be any different.
But alas, we’re still quite interested in getting our hands on this regardless. Plus, it is nice to see them listing it on the Malaysian P-Bandai shopee site as well. Now we have to start to save enough money to place the preorder for the darn thing.

With that concludes our 10th edition of the Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment for today. It has been quite a bit since we had the time to talk about something, not Gunpla related.
Honestly, it is refreshing. We hope that we are able to do more of these kinds of posts again in the near future!
