Do you even lift, bro?
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 360th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking at this week’s P-Bandai’s newest release announcement! After having a somewhat of a bad start to 2022, it looked like again P-Bandai is making amends here by announcing the latest Advance of Z HGUC release!
And it looks like we are finally be getting the TR-1 variant that we all here have been looking forward to getting.
So, let us now get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 RX-121-2P Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Owsla] with Gigantic Arm Unit (HGUC)

Release Date: May 2022
Estimated price: JPY 6,820 (MYR RM 246.27* / USD $ 58.85* / EUR € 51.48*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Yes, P-Bandai finally released the TR-1 Owsla variant that all of us here have been waiting for since P-Bandai revived the HGUC Advance of Z lineup.
And just I expected, it looked freakking insane as I imagined. P-Bandai really nails the look of the gigantic arm unit of the HGUC TR-1 Owsla.
Yes, it is clear that P-Bandai reused the arm unit from the HGUC Psycho Gundam for the HGUC TR-1 Owsla’s Gigantic Arm unit, but somehow P-Bandai managed to mod it nicely that it looked well at home on the HGUC Owsla.

Honestly, we do find ourselves impressed by their feat here.
However, we would admit it does look like it’ll be an upgrade that would make the HGUC Owsla have a bad heavy back issue. But even with that said, it is an understandable issue for it to have since one of the Gigantic Arm units is as big as the primary body unit itself. That is why to circumvent the problem, we see P-Bandai include a small stand for us to display this impressive piece of plastic awesomeness on our Gunpla shelves.
Admittedly, we are not worried about the HGUC Owsla Gigantic Arm’s weight issue here. Because honestly, we are more interested in seeing how everything works and how everything comes together for this bad boy.

Quite frankly, we are more concerned about whether it is even possible for all of us to secure one for ourselves.
That is why on the day we saw the announcement, we sat and waited very early on to ensure that we could secure one, and thankfully we managed to get one.
But we are one of the lucky ones because a minute after P-Bandai opened the HGUC Owsla’s preorder page, it was immediately closed, the whole thing to be sold out. It’s nice to know that all of these scammer bots are really working on overdrive on the P-Bandai Shopee page.
I guess taking away our ability to get PS5’s isn’t enough for them now they’re coming for our P-Bandai Gunplas.

With that concludes our 360th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. P-Bandai is really on a roll here, again announcing something that blows our minds and our wallets all at the same time.
But this isn’t the only one P-Bandai release that is made that excites us, there is another kit, but we will talk about it in the next segment since we all here feel that Gunpla kit deserves a whole blog post dedicated to it.
Anyways, we will be back again next week (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
