Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.365

A new HGAGE kit? Nice

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 365th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking at one of P-Bandai’s latest Gunpla release announcements. Interestingly, P-Bandai is announcing a new HGAGE kit.

Yes, you heard us right, a new HGAGE kit.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

HG 1/144 xvb-fnc Fawn Farsia (HGAGE)

Release Date: June 2022
Estimated price: JPY 1,540 (MYR RM 56.30* / USD $ 13.41* / EUR € 12.02*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Are you a fan of the original HGAGE Farsia?

Did you hate yourself for sleeping on the HGAGE Farsia?

Well, worry no more!

Why?

Well, that is because P-Bandai decided to reissue the original HGAGE Farsia.

But if you aren’t keen on re-release HGAGE Farisa and you wanted something new instead, well, do not worry, fam! Because P-Bandai also announced the HGAGE Fawn Farsia!

Yes, finally, after ten years after the end of the AGE Gundam anime, we get the HGAGE Fawn Farsia. Admittedly, it does suck to see the HGAGE Fawn Farsia getting that P-Bandai treatment. But then again, if this is the only way to get a new HGAGE kit, we can’t really complain.

Because honestly? One can’t expect the retail side to keep supporting a series that has already ended ten years ago. Not to mention, to especially keep supporting a series that isn’t that well-received upon its release.

So, yeah, even though we are quite unhappy to see this get that P-Bandai treatment, at the same time, we can understand why they decided to do so.

So, let us now talk about the kit itself, shall we?

At its core, this is still the same HGAGE Farsia kit. The only difference between this and the original HGAGE Farsia is that you get a new rose gold color scheme, a new baton weapon, and instead of getting a badass flying platform thing, you get a stand.

Yes, you don’t get the badass flying platform thing with this kit.

That is why you get a stand base to pose the kit up, and it is nice to see P-Bandai kind enough to make the stand base comes with mounting points for the effect parts for the bits.

At least we have something to pose the thing up properly.

But we are a bit disappointed to see that you cant attach the rest of the bits together on the baton to recreate the Fawn Farsia’s anime shooting pose.

But still, it isn’t enough to deter us from getting our hands on this badass HGAGE kit.

With that concludes our 366th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Honestly, this is one of the most exciting announcements from P-Bandai and one that we all here are really excited about here!

Why?

Well, because it finally allows us to own the original HGAGE Farsia, and now we can as well get the new HGAGE Fawn Farsia!

So yeah, it’s a win-win situation for us!

Anyways, we will be back again next Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
