HELLO! We are back! 

In today’s 367th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla, we will now be looking at The Gundam Base Limited’s newest Gunpla release! And today, we’ll be looking at a new recolored version of our favorite MG’s ever released! 

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we? 

MG 1/100 GN-002 Gundam Dynames (MG)

Release Date: 5th March 2022 (Released)

Estimated price: JPY 4,950 (MYR RM 178.91* / USD $ 42.78* / EUR € 39.26*)

We know we’re late to the party since The Gundam Base Limited chaps have already released this kit. But that is not stopping us from taking our sweet time here to talk about this particular The Gundam Base Limited release. 

Why?

Well, besides the fact that it is basically just a clear-colored MG Dynames and the fact that unlike most MG’s, there isn’t much to see under the hood, admittedly that we are a fan of the MG Dynames. 

So we do not mind that much on getting a clear-colored version of our favorite MG kit. 

But even with that said, we admit that is just one part of why we are very keen on getting this. 

The other reason why we wanted to get this is, well, admittedly, because The Gundam Base chaps did a pretty good job with the recolor work on the MG Dynames. Honestly, the recolor work that The Gundam Base Limited chaps did here for the MG Dynames is quite tasteful. 

Not to mention, we also like the fact that not everything that they have here gets the clear-color treatment. Because for this version, The Gundam Base Limited chaps decided against giving the clear-color parts for the MG Dynames’s weapons. Instead, they got shiny coated parts. 

And we all here felt that it is a good decision for them to do that because it does look really good paired together with the clear-colored MG Dynames. 

All in all, we are looking forward to this one, and we hope that we’ll see it hit our shores sooner and later.

With that concludes our 367th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Admittedly, it is a pretty slow news week for new Gunpla releases. But then again, we have been hearing and seeing new announcements week after week. So we can understand why Bandai wanted to take it easy from this week onwards. 

Plus, we know that they’re preparing for the Hobby Next event, so we can understand why they are holding back here. We imagine that we’ll see some insane things coming from both the P-Bandai and the Retail side for sure in the Hobby Next event. 

Anyways, we will be back again this Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
