Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.374

All we’re missing now is a hat to pull the bunny out.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 374th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will continue where we left off with the previous post and talk about the other two HG The Witch From Mercury kits!

Just like the HG Gundam Aerial, these two HG kits that we’re going to be talking about here look to be as fascinating as it is.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

HG 1/144 Gundam Lfrith (HGTWFM)

Release Date: TBA
Estimated price: TBA
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

The HG Gundam Lfrith is another Gundam MS design from The Witch From Mercury anime announced alongside the HG Gundam Aerial.

Like the HG Gundam Aerial, this is another MS design from the same anime series that we agree is one badass-looking MS design. Although, we admit that this particular one does give us a strong ‘IBO’ series vibe, despite having the same design characteristics as the HG Gundam Aerial.

Why?

Well, that is because of its backpack unit. Because it looks like it could house/mount different weapons systems on it, and we can imagine Bandai releasing them as expansion parts, just like what they did with the IBO series.

But that doesn’t mean we are not a fan of it. In fact, we would go as far as to say that we like the HG Gundam Lfrith design more than the HG Gundam Aerial. For one, it’s because we think this looked like a better-looking G-Exes. More precisely, it looked like a child born from a combination of the best bit of the G-Exes and the Unicorn.

But the best bit that we liked the most about this is its grunt color scheme that they’d go for here. Despite having Gundam to its name, the color they go for the HG Gundam Lfrith made it look more like a mass production model, and you guys here know how much of a sucker we are for mass production MS’s.

However, just like the HG Gundam Aerial, nothing much is known about this kit for now. So just like what we did with the HG Gundam Aerial, we won’t speculate too much here, but we shall wait till we learn more of it to go into in-depth on our thoughts.

But just like the HG Gundam Aerial, one thing is for sure here is that it also looks like a kit that most panel liners like us will love to work on here, just like the upcoming HG Gundam Aerial.

HG 1/144 Berguir-beu (HGTWFM)

Release Date: TBA
Estimated price: TBA
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

If the two earlier Gundams look like something that we can imagine how those two would be in their final forms, this one, however, is a complete mystery for us.

Why?

Well, it’s because it looked like nothing that we’ve seen to date. Not to mention, even from the promotional materials from Bandai, we do not know what to really think of this.

But one thing is for sure, we all agree that this is one of the most exciting Gunplas that we’ve seen in years.

An MS design looked like a combination of the FSS Mortarhead MS, Alus Core Gundam, a bat, and a bunny. Yes, we know that the animal comparison is a bit weird, but that’s what we all here see when we look at this badass kit.

Honestly, we are not sure what we will be getting here, but it does have a strong feel of a banging kit. Because there is a lot that we can see here that looked unfamiliar to us, and not to mention, most of the details on the parts looked pretty well designed.

We’re looking forward to seeing and learning more about this bad boy. Hopefully, it is as good to build as it is to look at here!

Now we can conclude our 374th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. It’s nice to see that the upcoming anime will come with a lot of awesome MS designs. Honestly, it has been quite a while since we’ve seen Gunpla releases and anime announcements that have us excited for their eventual release.

Hopefully, this awesomeness will continue as the anime releases, and we also sincerely hope that all these HG kits will be as good as the HGORIGINS ones.

So, yes, we will be back again next week (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts.
