Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.376

ff is the sound of music to Amuro’s ears as he hangs back, camping.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 376th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking at The Gundam Base Limited’s latest Gunpla release announcement. An announcement of the new v Gundam variant.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

RG 1/144 RX-93ff v Gundam (RG)

Release Date: 25th April 2022
Estimated price: JPY 4,950 (MYR RM 184.27* / USD $ 43.70* / EUR € 39.74*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

After spending our time looking at this release announcement, we all can agree that we want to get this. We do not know how, but we will find a way.

Our excitement for this is justified because it does manage to be more than what we expected.

Yes, we admit that most that we see here will be more and less the same, albeit just in a different color. But that color change, added in with some pretty badass decals and the Long-Range Fin Funnels, is enough to justify getting this badass Premium RG kit.

Really, we do think that The Gundam Base Limited chaps did it right here with the color scheme they chose for this kit. The primary blue and white colors work well with each other, while the familiar complementary red and yellow do their job well in complementing the two primary colors. Plus, badass decals, specifically made for this release, make the whole thing look even better.

But the thing that really made us all here fall in love with this release is its Long-Range Fin Funnels.

When we saw it first back in January, we thought we’ll only be getting a new Fin Funnel that can work as a mounted cannon on the v Gundam.

But oh no, no, that is not the only thing it can do with the Long-Range Fin Funnels, apparently. Because we here just learned that you could as well mount it on RG FFv Gundam arms unit.

Yes, you can mount the huge Long-Range Fin Funnels on its arms and use it like it had one large beam rifle.

And we even like that when attached to the backpack unit, the mounting part (made specifically for this kit) enables the Long-Range Fin Funnels to act as a mounted beam cannon, turning the v Gundam into a cannon v Gundam. Looking at the thickness of the mounting part, we do not doubt that it would be able to sustain the sheer weight of the HUGE Long-Range Fin Funnel.

As we mentioned earlier, we do not know how we are getting this since this is Gundam Base Limited’s exclusive release. But the more we spend time looking and writing about this, the more the need to get it feeling is burning up inside us, and we will do whatever we can to get this.

Because honestly, we all know that the ff v Gundam is worth getting.

And that concludes our 376th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. We are well aware that there are three versions of the ffv Gundam that The Gundam Base Limited announced, but we all here know that this is the version that most of us here care about the most, so that is why we decided to focus on only the RG version for today’s segment.

But admittedly, we do think that the other two kits are also quite good-looking gunplas. So if you’re not a fan of this, you can consider getting the SD and the Entry Grade versions.

Anyways, we’ll be back again next week (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts. Hopefully, by sharing our love and passion for building and writing about gunplas or other plamos here, we hope that it’ll help to inspire all of here to pick up on Gunpla building. Or better yet, reignite your love and passion for it.

Anyways, we shall see all of you again soon, and we as well hope that you all here have a splendid day and week ahead! Oh as well, do have an excellent time building your awesome gunplas there and until next time.
